TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an active energy ray-curable insulating coating material composition containing a di (meth) acrylate represented by the general formula (1), and a composition obtained by the present invention has an insulating property and an elastic modulus. Because of its superiority, it is useful as an insulating material, such as for covering cables, and is awarded in these technical fields.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, in the process of manufacturing an insulating coating material, an ultraviolet curable material has been frequently used for the purpose of increasing productivity. Examples of these include unsaturated polyester resins, unsaturated epoxy ester resins, and the like. However, these resins are unsuitable for high-frequency transmission parts because of their large dielectric loss. Further, as an insulating coating material which requires flexibility, an ultraviolet curable resin containing polybutadiene having a (meth) acryloyl group as a main component is known (JP-A-53-84036, JP-A-8-84036). No. 2,291,207), its use was limited because the tensile modulus was not so high.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide an insulating coating material composition having high productivity for curing with active energy rays such as ultraviolet rays in the production of electronic parts and cables, and further having a large tensile modulus and a low dielectric constant. To provide.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventor has conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems. As a result, the di (meth) acrylate represented by the general formula (1) has a low viscosity. It is found that the viscosity before curing is low and the handling is easy, and the curing of the present composition is fast, so that the workability is excellent and the productivity is high, the tensile elastic modulus is large, and the dielectric constant is low. The present invention has been completed.
That is, the present invention is an active energy ray-curable insulating coating material composition comprising the di (meth) acrylate represented by the general formula (1). Preferably, di (meth) acrylate (A) having a structure represented by the general formula (1), polybutadiene (B) having a structure represented by the general formula (2), other radically polymerizable monomer (C), and light It contains a polymerization initiator (D), and the proportion of the components (A) to (C) is 15 to 90% by mass of the component (A), 7 to 55% by mass of the component (B), and 3 to 30% by mass of the component (C). %, And 0.05 to 12 parts by mass of the component (D) with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the mixture.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
In addition, in this specification, acrylate or methacrylate is represented as (meth) acrylate, and acrylic acid and methacrylic acid are represented as (meth) acrylic acid.
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The di (meth) acrylate (A) used in the present invention is a di (meth) acrylate having a norbornane skeleton represented by the following general formula (1).
[0006]
Embedded image
[0007]
In the formula (1), R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R 2 is an alkylene group, and a and b are each independently an integer of 0 to 5.
[0008]
The component (A) used in the present invention needs to be a trans form as shown in the above formula (1). Even in the case of di- (meth) acrylate having the same structure, in the case of the cis-form, the viscosity and curability of the obtained cured product become insufficient.
R 2 is preferably an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms such as a methylene group, an ethylene group and a propylene group. As a and b, both a and b are particularly preferably 0.
[0009]
As specific examples of the component (A), in the formula (1), R 1 is a hydrogen atom, trans and norbornane dimethylol diacrylate in which a and b are each 0, R 1 is a methyl group, and R 2 is an ethylene group. And a diacrylate of a trans-norbornane dimethylol ethylene oxide 2 mol modified product in which a and b are each 1 and the like.
[0010]
In the composition of the present invention, the di (meth) acrylate (A) can be used alone or in combination of two or more, and the total amount of the component (A) and the components (B) and (C) described later is 100 mass%. It is preferably contained in an amount of 15 to 90 parts by mass, more preferably 35 to 80 parts by mass.
[0011]
In the composition of the present invention, in addition to the component (A), a polybutadiene (B) having a structure represented by the following general formula (2) is preferably used in combination for the purpose of adding flexibility to the composition.
[0012]
Embedded image
[0013]
In the formula (2), R 3 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R 4 is a linear or branched alkylene group, preferably 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and c is an integer of 0 to 5.
[0014]
The component (B) is obtained, for example, by reacting (meth) acrylic acid with polybutadiene having a hydroxyl group at both ends or one end, or by reacting ethylene oxide or propylene oxide with a similar hydroxyl group of polybutadiene, and then adding (meth) It can be obtained by further reacting with acrylic acid.
[0015]
The number average molecular weight of these polybutadienes is preferably about 500 to 10,000. When the number average molecular weight is less than 500, the flexibility becomes insufficient. On the other hand, when the number average molecular weight is more than 10,000, there may be a problem in solubility or a high viscosity may cause a problem in workability. There is.
[0016]
Specific examples of the component (B) include those obtained by esterifying polybutadiene having hydroxyl groups at both ends (for example, G series manufactured by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd.) with (meth) acrylic acid. In addition, polybutadiene having a carboxyl group at both terminals (for example, C series manufactured by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd.) is used as a hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylate (for example, 2-hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate, 2-hydroxypropyl (meth) acrylate). , 2-hydroxybutyl (meth) acrylate, etc.) can also be used as the component (B). Further, polybutadiene having a urethane acrylate structure at both ends (TEA-1000, TE-2000, etc., manufactured by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd.) can also be suitably used.
[0017]
The component (B) is preferably contained in an amount of 7 to 55 parts by mass, more preferably 15 to 45 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the total of the components (A), (B) and the component (C) described below. preferable. If it is less than 7 parts by mass, the dielectric constant becomes too large, and if it exceeds 55 parts by mass, the tensile modulus of the cured product obtained becomes small.
[0018]
The insulating coating material composition of the present invention can be used in combination with a radical polymerizable monomer (component C) curable by an active energy ray, if necessary.
Examples of the radical polymerizable monomer (component (C)) include (meth) acrylates other than the components (A) and (B) and styrene derivatives such as styrene and divinylbenzene. It can be used for the purpose of raising or giving flexibility of a cured product. Preferably, a (meth) acrylate having one (meth) acryloyl group in the molecule [hereinafter referred to as monofunctional (meth) acrylate. Or a (meth) acrylate having two or more (meth) acryloyl groups in the molecule [hereinafter referred to as a polyfunctional (meth) acrylate]. ] (Meth) acrylate.
Component (C) is preferably contained in an amount of 3 to 30 parts by mass, more preferably 5 to 20 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the total of components (A), (B) and (C). However, if the amount of the monofunctional (meth) acrylate in the component (C) is too large, the curing speed of the composition is reduced. On the other hand, if the amount of the polyfunctional (meth) acrylate is too large, the viscosity of the composition becomes too high and the workability decreases.
Specific examples thereof include the following compounds.
[0019]
Examples of the monofunctional (meth) acrylate include phenol ethylene oxide-modified (meth) acrylate, paracumylphenol ethylene oxide-modified (meth) acrylate, nonylphenol ethylene oxide-modified (meth) acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl carbitol (meth) acrylate, and isovol High boiling point (meth) acrylates such as nyl acrylate, norbornane methylol (meth) acrylate, and tricyclodecane methylol (meth) acrylate can be given. Besides these, low molecular weight and low boiling (meth) acrylates such as methyl (meth) acrylate, ethyl (meth) acrylate, propyl (meth) acrylate and butyl (meth) acrylate can also be used.
[0020]

A) acrylate, tripropylene glycol di (meth) acrylate, polypropylene glycol di (meth) acrylate, pentaerythritol di (meth) acrylate monostearate, polyethylene glycol di (meth) acrylate and polypropylene glycol di (meth) acrylate (Meth) acrylate having two (meth) acryloyl groups, pentaerythritol tri (meth) acrylate, and trimethylol Propane tri (meth) acrylate, trimethylolpropane propylene oxide modified tri (meth) acrylate, isocyanuric acid ethylene oxide modified tri (meth) acrylate, trimethylolpropane propylene oxide modified tri (meth) acrylate, trimethylolpropane ethylene oxide modified tri ( A (meth) acrylate having three (meth) acryloyl groups in a molecule such as (meth) acrylate can be given. Besides these, (meth) acrylates having four or more (meth) acryloyl groups can also be used. Further, oligomers such as polyester (meth) acrylate, urethane (meth) acrylate and epoxy (meth) acrylate can also be used.

These components (C) can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
[0021]
The insulating coating material composition of the present invention is cured by irradiation with an active energy ray such as an electron beam, visible light, or ultraviolet light, but is preferably of a visible light or ultraviolet curable type for convenience.
When a visible or ultraviolet curable composition is used, a photopolymerization initiator (D component) is added to the composition. The proportion of the component (D) is preferably 0.05 to 12 parts by mass, more preferably 0.1 to 5 parts by mass, per 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the components (A) to (C). It is.
