しかしながら、従来の電極取付装置は、プルスタッドを締結した後、特段のロック機構を有していないため、制限以上の荷重を受けると、取付けた電極にガタつき等が生じ、製品精度に支障をきたすという問題があった。また、油圧式の場合は油漏れにより同様の問題が発生した。本発明は、上記のような従来技術の問題点に鑑み、放電加工機における電極を容易且つ強固に取付けることができるばかりでなく、位置決め精度を向上することができる放電加工機用電極取付装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

下ケーシング8には、その中央にプルスタッド9が出入可能に形成されたプルスタッド挿入口8aが設けられると共に、回転操作環7の下部略半分が嵌め込まれて収納される回転操作環収納凹所8bと、4個のプルスタッド押圧駒1をそれぞれ径方向に摺動可能に保持する4箇所の押圧駒摺動溝8cが設けられている。プルスタッド押圧駒1は、内方側の端部がプルスタッド9の側面凹部9aと嵌合可能に形成された押圧面1aを有し、外方側端部上面にロック用ボール6が収容されるボール収容凹所1bが設けられると共に、後述するロック用回転駒3のボール押圧片3aが嵌合される押圧片摺動溝1cが設けられている。ロック用回転環(小径の回転環)3は、回転操作環(大径の回転環)7の内周面に一体的に嵌合固定されると共に、プルスタッド9の頭部9bが挿通可能な貫通孔を持つ円環状に形成され、その環状部下端には4個所のボール押圧片3aが等間隔を空けて下方に向かって突設されている。
