請求項1の発明は、歯科治療中に発生する歯牙切削粉等が患者の呼吸器官へ入り込むのを防止するための呼吸器官保護装置であって、該呼吸器官保護装置は、口腔外バキュームホースと一体的に移動可能なエアーホースと、該エアーホースの先端部に着脱自在に設けられたエアーカーテン形成部材とから成り、歯科治療時、該エアーカーテン形成部材部を患者の鼻腔前部に移動し、患者の鼻腔前部にエアーカーテンを形成して歯牙切削粉が患者の呼吸器官へ入り込まないようにしたことを特徴としたものである。
