Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mobile phone data backup system for backing up data stored in a memory of a mobile phone.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, along with the improvement of functions of mobile phones, data provided from a provider or the like to the mobile phone or data stored in the mobile phone by user's input operation has been diversified. I have. Therefore, when a mobile phone is lost or stolen, important data is often lost at the same time. In addition, there is a possibility that a third party may illegally use the mobile phone or steal important data. Therefore, at such times, the user has contacted the mobile phone operator to stop using the mobile phone or to prevent data theft. However, it often takes time for the business to respond, and it has not been possible to prevent unauthorized use by a third party during that time.
[0003]
For this reason, for example, JP-A-2001-230858 discloses that when a mobile phone is lost or stolen, an unauthorized use prevention function execution command and a password are transmitted from the network control device to the mobile phone through the exchange and the base station. There is disclosed a technique in which a mobile phone side confirms a password and then executes an unauthorized use prevention function execution command to stop the transmission function and display function of the mobile phone.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, even if the transmission function and the display function of the mobile phone are stopped as described in the above-mentioned publication, the data stored in the mobile phone is still lost, and the data can be securely prevented from being stolen. Can not.
[0005]
For example, if the data of the mobile phone is transferred to and stored in the terminal device of the business operator before the calling function and the display function of the mobile phone are stopped, the data is not lost. However, it is difficult to imagine that the memory on the business side can be used without limit, and it is considered that restrictions are naturally set in terms of the data storage period and cost, and it is hard to say that the user is easy to use.
[0006]
In view of the above, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems. When a mobile phone is lost or stolen, the data of the mobile phone can be securely stored, and the user can easily use the data. It is an object to provide a data backup system for a mobile phone.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a mobile phone, a base station that performs wireless communication with the mobile phone, an exchange connected to the base station, a control device connected to the exchange, and a mobile phone. The control device includes a base station and a user terminal device connected through the exchange. The control device responds to a request from the outside through the exchange, and transmits a personal identification number and a data backup request of the mobile phone through the exchange and the base station. The mobile phone stores the password of the mobile phone in advance when the mobile phone stores the password of the mobile phone and a data backup request from the control device. The backup data is transferred to the user terminal device through the base station and the exchange and stored when the passwords match each other.
[0008]
According to the present invention having such a configuration, in response to a request from the outside, the personal identification number of the mobile phone and a data backup request are transmitted and received from the control device to the mobile phone, and in response to the data backup request, After the mobile phone confirms the password, the backup data is transferred from the mobile phone to the user terminal device and stored. Therefore, if the mobile phone is lost or stolen, if a request is issued to the control device, the backup data can be transferred from the mobile phone to the user terminal device and stored. As the user terminal device, there is a personal computer, a personal digital assistant (PDA), or the like. If backup data is stored here, there is no restriction on the data storage period or cost, and the user can use it. easy.
[0009]
Further, in the present invention, the mobile phone transfers and stores the backup data to a plurality of user terminal devices.
[0010]
If the backup data is transferred to a plurality of user terminal devices and stored, the backup data can be reliably stored.
[0011]
Further, in the present invention, the mobile phone has a memory in which addresses of a plurality of user terminal devices and priority of each of the user terminal devices are stored in association with each other. Then, the mobile phone accesses the user terminal device by selecting and using the address of the user terminal device according to the priority order of each user terminal device, and transfers and stores the backup data to the user terminal device, If the backup data cannot be transferred to the user terminal device, the address of the next user terminal device is selected and used according to the priority of each user terminal device.
[0012]
By selectively accessing a plurality of user terminal devices according to their priorities and transferring and storing the backup data to a user terminal device having a higher priority, backup data can be stored in a user terminal which is more convenient for the user. The data can be stored in the device, and the backup data can be reliably stored.
[0013]
Further, in the present invention, if backup data cannot be transferred to the user terminal device even if access is repeated a plurality of times, the address of the next user terminal device is selected and used.
[0014]
Since the user terminal does not always respond immediately, it is preferable to try the access a plurality of times.
[0015]
Further, in the present invention, after transferring and storing the backup data to the user terminal device, the mobile phone stops at least one of the call function and the display function of the mobile phone.
[0016]
If the call function and the display function of the mobile phone are stopped after the backup data is transferred to the user terminal device and stored, the backup data is not lost and the unauthorized use of the mobile phone can be prevented.
[0017]
Further, in the present invention, the mobile phone transmits the backup data to the user terminal device and stores it, and then stores the encrypted backup data in an encrypted form.
[0018]
By transferring the backup data to the user terminal device and storing it after encrypting and storing the backup data in this way, unauthorized use of the backup data can be prevented without erasing the backup data.
[0019]
Further, in the present invention, a flag indicating in advance whether or not the data is to be encrypted is added to the backup data.
[0020]
In this way, if a flag indicating whether or not the data is to be encrypted is added to the backup data, the data to be encrypted can be easily determined.
[0021]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when a mobile phone is lost or stolen, if a request is issued to the control device, the backup data can be easily and quickly transferred from the mobile phone to the user terminal device. Can be memorized. In addition, since the user terminal device is the property of the user, as long as the backup data is stored here, there is no restriction on the data storage period or cost, and the backup data can be flexibly stored for the convenience of the user. It can be stored in a disk or a magnetic card and taken out, so that the user can easily use it.
[0046]
Further, since the backup data is transferred to and stored in the user terminal device having a higher priority, the backup data can be stored in the user terminal device which is more convenient for the user.
[0047]
In addition, since the call function and the display function of the mobile phone are stopped after the backup data is transferred to the user terminal device and stored, the unauthorized use of the mobile phone can be prevented without losing the backup data.
[0048]
Further, after the backup data is transferred to the user terminal device and stored therein, the backup data is encrypted and stored, so that unauthorized use of the backup data can be prevented.
