Abstract
Description
【0001】
さらに、下コグ形成部20の溝25の底と上コグ形成部30の溝35の底との間の距離TC(TCは、下コグ形成部20の溝25の底から心線12の中心までの距離T1と上コグ形成部30の溝35の底から心線の中心までの距離T2との和である)に対するベルト厚さTの比T/TCは2.5以上である。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a speed change belt that is used by being wound around a plurality of pulleys including a variable diameter pulley and that transmits power by friction transmission.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Since the speed change belt of a two-wheeled vehicle is required to have a power transmission capability under a high load condition, a high elastic modulus is required in the longitudinal direction of the belt. For this reason, a cord made of aramid fiber is used as a cord embedded in the belt body.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, there is a problem that the speed change belt in which the core wire made of aramid fiber is embedded has low flex fatigue resistance.
[0004]
It is considered that this is because, in a two-wheeled vehicle, the speed change belt undergoes large torque fluctuations and rotation fluctuations due to the characteristics of the engine. That is, when the speed change belt is driven by driving the motorcycle engine, as shown in FIG. 5, vibration is generated in the speed change belt B ′, and this vibration significantly increases the strength of the core wire made of aramid fiber. Lower it. When a polyester fiber core wire, which is most widely used as a core wire for a power transmission belt, is used, although the bending fatigue resistance is excellent, the power transmission capacity under a high load is insufficient.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and an object of the present invention is to provide a speed change belt that is excellent in bending fatigue resistance and that exhibits sufficient power transmission capacity even under a high load. To provide.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention comprises a core wire made of glass fiber having a lower modulus of elasticity than aramid fiber and a higher modulus of elasticity than polyester fiber, thereby absorbing torque fluctuations and rotation fluctuations, thereby improving flex fatigue resistance. At the same time, even when a heavy load is applied, sufficient transmission capacity is exhibited.
[0007]
Specifically, the present invention is a speed change belt that is used by being wound around a plurality of pulleys including a pulley with a variable pulley diameter and transmits power by friction transmission,
An endless rubber belt body, and a core wire embedded in the belt body so as to form a spiral with a predetermined pitch in the belt width direction,
The core wire is made of glass fiber.
[0008]
Although the fluctuation in torque is absorbed by the core made of glass fiber, the strength is reduced. Therefore, it is desirable that the core has a high initial strength from the viewpoint of increasing the safety factor of the belt. Therefore, in the present invention, it is preferable that the glass fibers constituting the core wire are high-strength glass fibers. Here, the high-strength glass fiber means, for example, S glass, K glass, P glass or the like having a higher SiO 2 composition fraction than E glass.
[0009]
As a speed change belt used under high load conditions, a double cogged V belt has excellent performance from the viewpoint of the belt shape. Therefore, the present invention provides a double cog drive wherein the lower cog is formed on the inner peripheral side at a constant pitch along the longitudinal direction of the belt and the upper cog is formed on the outer peripheral side at a constant pitch along the longitudinal direction of the belt. It may be a V-belt body.
[0010]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, since the core wire is made of glass fiber having a lower elastic modulus than aramid fiber and a higher elastic modulus than polyester fiber, it absorbs torque fluctuation and rotation fluctuation and has excellent bending fatigue resistance. And at the same time exhibit sufficient transmission capacity even under high loads.
