上下に小径部を有するとともに、前記上小径部および下小径部間に大径部を有し、また、前記下小径部に下方から嵌込まれた第1の弾性部材を有するこま型部材と、このこま型部材が上下移動可能に収容される内部収容空間を有する栓棒とを備え、
前記栓棒は、栓棒上部材と、この栓棒上部材に着脱自在に装着され、前記栓棒上部材とで前記内部収容空間を形成する栓棒下部材とよりなり、
この栓棒下部材は、有底筒状で、環状の第2の弾性部材が嵌込まれた状態で固定される小径部分を底の中央から下方に突出した状態で有するとともに、前記底の中央から上方に突出した状態で前記第1の弾性部材が当接・離間する弁座部分を有するとともに、周面に水抜き用の横孔を有し、更に、
前記栓棒下部材は、前記弁座部分、前記底および前記小径部分を上下に貫通する水抜き用の縦孔を有し、しかも、
前記栓棒下部材は、前記大径部を常時上方に付勢するコイルバネを前記内部収容空間内における前記大径部の下側に有する一方、所定温度以上のときは前記コイルバネよりも大きな付勢力で前記大径部を下方に付勢して前記第1の弾性部材を前記弁座部分に当接させる一方、所定温度以下のときは縮んで前記第1の弾性部材を前記コイルバネの付勢力によって前記弁座部分から離間させ、それによって、前記縦孔から前記内部収容空間内を通り前記横孔から外部に至る水抜き流路を形成する形状記憶合金材料よりなるバネを前記内部収容空間内における前記大径部の上側に有することを特徴とする凍結防止機能付弁装置。
