Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pen-type light.
[0002]
[Prior art and its problems]
Generally, as shown in FIGS. 4 (a) and 4 (b), a pen-shaped light has a bulb 3 disposed at the front of an elongated metal tube 1 containing a dry battery 2 therein, and a switch means 11 disposed at the rear. When the switch means 11 is turned on and off, the light bulb 3 is turned on and off. The switch means 11 is constituted by a metal rod penetrating a metal plug 14 at the rear end of the cylinder 1.
[0003]
That is, the front end of the dry battery 2 is always held by the coil spring 13 so as not to contact the rear end of the base of the electric bulb 3 as shown in FIG. Contacting the front end. Then, when the metal rod 11 is pushed in as shown in FIG. 2B, the front end of the dry battery 2 comes into contact with the rear end of the bulb 3. The base of the bulb 3 is electrically connected to the rear end of the dry battery 2 via the coil spring 13, the cylinder 1, the metal plug 14, and the metal rod 11. Therefore, the switch is turned on, and the bulb 3 is turned on. When the push on the metal rod 11 is released, the bulb 3 and the dry cell 2 are separated from each other, and the switch is turned off.
[0004]
However, according to the above configuration, the coil spring 13 must reliably separate the dry battery and the bulb against the weight of the dry battery, so that the spring force must be increased accordingly. When the switch is turned on, the batteries must be moved. Therefore, in order to switch on, the pushing force of the metal rod 11 must be strong.
[0005]
When the pressing force is released, the light bulb disappears. Therefore, when continuously irradiating, the metal rod 11 must be continuously pressed with a strong force. Therefore, there is a problem that the finger becomes tired.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a pen-type light which can solve the above-mentioned problems, can be turned on with a light force, has a simple structure, and can reduce the cost.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a pen-type light according to the present invention is a pen-type light in which a bulb is disposed at a front portion of a cylindrical body containing a dry battery therein, and a clip is attached to a rear portion. A coil spring made of metal is attached around the periphery of the cylinder, and the front end of the coil spring is brought into contact with the inner surface of the front end of the cylindrical body, and the front end of the dry battery is brought into contact with the rear end of the base of the light bulb, and the rear end is formed as described above. The switch is opened and closed by being connected to the base of the clip and bringing the tip of the clip into contact with and separating from the cylindrical body.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a pen-type light according to the present invention, and FIG. 2A is a longitudinal sectional view thereof. In the figure, reference numeral 1 indicates a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body 1 is made of a conductive material such as aluminum or stainless steel, and has a front end bent inward. Two dry batteries 2 are housed inside the cylinder 1, a light bulb 3 is arranged at the front of the cylinder 1, and a clip 4 is attached at the rear.
[0009]
The members constituting the pen-shaped light will be described. As shown in detail in FIG. 3, a metal coil spring 7 is mounted around the base 5 and the bulb 6 of the light bulb 3 in a surrounding state. The coil spring 7 is formed in a truncated cone shape, the base 5 is tightly fastened to a small diameter portion 7a of the coil spring 7, and the valve 6 is surrounded by a large diameter portion 7b at the front of the coil spring 7 so as not to be in contact therewith. The end of the large diameter portion 7b of the coil spring 7 is formed to protrude forward from the valve 6.
[0010]
Next, as shown in FIG. 2A, a plug 8 made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin is screwed into the rear end opening of the cylindrical body 1. A short metal member 9 made of metal is fitted around the plug 8. The end of the short cylindrical member 9 is attached so as not to contact the rear end of the cylindrical body 1.
[0011]
A metal bolt 10 penetrates through the center of the plug 8, and its tip is screwed into a screw receiving plate 11 at the front end of the plug 8. The base of the metal clip 4 is clamped and fixed between the head of the bolt 10 and the plug 8 by the bolt 10. At this time, the tip of the clip 4 is separated from the surface of the cylindrical body 1. It is preferable that the tip of the bolt 10 is slightly protruded from the screw receiving plate 11.
[0012]
When assembling the pen-shaped light using the members having the above-described configuration, the plug 8 is removed from the cylinder 1, the bulb 3 with the coil spring 7 is inserted into the front end of the cylinder, and the front end of the coil spring 7 is It is brought into contact with the inner surface of the inside bent portion 1a formed at the front end. Next, the dry battery 2 is housed inside the cylindrical body 1. Then, the plug 8 is screwed and fixed to the rear end of the cylindrical body 1. When the plug 8 is screwed into the cylinder 1, the tip of the bolt 10 comes into contact with the negative pole of the dry battery 2, and further pushes the dry battery 2 against the coil spring 7 in accordance with the screwing. Is always in contact with the rear end 5a of the base 5 of the bulb 3.
[0013]
In the above configuration, the rear end 5a of the base 5 of the bulb 3 contacts the positive pole of the dry battery 2, the base 5 is electrically connected to the cylinder 1 via the coil spring 7, and the rear negative end of the dry battery 2 is It is electrically connected to the clip 4 via the bolt 10. Therefore, when the tip of the clip 4 is pushed with a finger as shown by the arrow in FIG. 2B to make contact with the surface of the cylindrical body 1, the circuit connecting the dry battery 2 and the bulb 3 is closed, and the bulb 3 is turned on. When the finger is released from the clip 4, the circuit opens to turn off the light.
[0014]
As described above, the circuit for connecting the dry battery 2 and the electric bulb 3 is such that the distal end 4b of the clip 4 abuts against the surface of the cylindrical body 1 against the elasticity of the base 4a of the clip 4, or the clip 4 Is closed or opened by separating the tip 4b of Therefore, the pushing force when pushing the distal end 4b of the clip 4 becomes smaller as the pushing position becomes farther from the base 4a of the clip 4. That is, if the tip 4b of the clip 4 is pressed, the switch can be turned on with a small force.
[0015]
Thus, the spring force of the coil spring 7 of the light bulb 3 has nothing to do with the switch, and the blinking operation can be performed much more easily than in the past.
[0016]
In addition, since the on / off operation of the switch can be performed by the clip 4 instead of the special switch means as in the conventional case, the number of components can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced. When the clip 4 is not used as a light, the clip 4 is used to fasten it to the breast pocket. In this case, the clip 4 and the surface of the cylinder 1 are completely separated by the cloth material of the pocket. There is no danger of switching on without knowing.
[0017]
In addition, since the clip 4 can be pushed in while the cylinder 1 is gripped so as to face forward and backward, handling is easy. On the other hand, the conventional one has a metal rod as a switch means at the rear end of the cylinder, and its pushing force is relatively large, so that it cannot be held like a syringe. Since the rod is pushed with the thumb, it is necessary to raise the hand to the vicinity of the shoulder and push the metal rod to turn the light bulb forward, which is troublesome to handle.
[0018]
When the cylindrical body 1 is made of aluminum, a layer of an alumite film is formed on the surface thereof, and is in an insulated state. In this case, the inside of the front bent portion 1a with which the coil spring 7 contacts and the portion with which the tip of the clip 4 contacts may be polished or shaved so as to be able to conduct electricity.
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a pen-shaped light according to the present invention. FIGS. 2 (a) and (b) are longitudinal sectional views of the pen-shaped light when turned off and when turned on, respectively. FIG. FIGS. 4A and 4B are vertical cross-sectional views of a conventional pen-shaped light when it is turned off and when it is turned on, respectively.
