Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a base-type fluorescent lamp which is formed by integrating a fluorescent lamp and a base via a substantially cylindrical case containing a lighting circuit therein, and is mainly used as a light source for illumination.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various types of die-type fluorescent lamps in which a fluorescent lamp and a die are combined and integrated via a substantially cylindrical case containing a lighting circuit therein have been proposed. For example, JP-A-8-273615 discloses a fluorescent lamp having a cover having a base, a fluorescent lamp attached to the base, and a lighting circuit connected between the base and the fluorescent lamp and housed in the cover. A lamp device is disclosed. In this fluorescent lamp device, a partition plate and an envelope are provided.
[0003]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-48633 discloses a fluorescent lamp including a lighting circuit, a fluorescent lamp electrically connected to the lighting circuit, a base electrically connected to the lighting circuit, and a base housing the lighting circuit. A lamp device is disclosed. In this fluorescent lamp device, the connection between the lead wire from the fluorescent lamp and the lighting circuit is performed by wire wrapping or welding to a pin provided on the substrate.
[0004]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-340114 discloses a method of manufacturing a tube in which a lead wire derived from an eyelet of a base of the tube is fused to the eyelet by plasma arc welding. Here, the connection between the base and the lighting circuit is performed by soldering a lead wire from the lighting circuit at the base.
[0005]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-96898 discloses an arc tube, a holder holding both ends of the arc tube, an electronic lighting circuit for lighting the arc tube, a case accommodating the same, and a case of this case. A low-pressure mercury discharge lamp having a base provided at one end is disclosed. In this low-pressure mercury discharge lamp, a plurality of circuit boards are electrically and mechanically connected by a conductive support.
[0006]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-76614 discloses a tube in which a base having an eyelet and a screw-shaped shell is formed at one end of a case in which a lighting circuit is housed. This tube has a structure in which a conductive component is inserted from the inside of the case and used as an eyelet of a base, and a portion exposed from the case is cut and raised to receive an axial force during mounting.
[0007]
However, in any of the above, there is a drawback in assemblability since an integral case formed in a substantially cylindrical shape is used. There is a problem that the reliability of the electrical connection between the fluorescent lamp and the base to the lighting circuit housed in the lamp is reduced. Specifically, when the connection portion of the circuit board is located on the base side inside the case, it is difficult to route and connect the wires. In addition, the connection between the lighting circuit and the base is also poor in productivity because the case and the base are substantially cylindrical and lead wires must be passed through the holes.
[0008]
In the connection by wire wrapping or welding, a process for the connection is required, and the productivity is not good. In wire wrapping, the reliability of the connection is low. Further, in the connection by solder, since the height of the solder on the top and sides is varied, there is a possibility that the connection with the socket may be adversely affected. When a metal part is inserted into the case from the inside of the case to form an eyelet, the cut-and-raised retaining means impairs the appearance, and also raises concerns about the strength of the eyelet with respect to the axial force when the lamp is mounted. .
[0009]
By the way, as another conventional example, as shown in FIG. 7, a base-type fluorescent lamp in which a fluorescent lamp 3 and a base 4 are combined and integrated via a substantially cylindrical case 2 in which a lighting circuit 1 is housed is also known. Have been. The base-type fluorescent lamp is a single-ended discharge lamp disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-220621.
[0010]
In this case, a circuit board 5 having the lighting circuit 1 is vertically fixed and accommodated in the case 2, and the case 2 is divided horizontally into upper and lower case members a and b. The fluorescent lamp 2 is mechanically mounted and supported on the upper case member a, and the lead wires 8 of the fluorescent lamp 2 are mechanically and electrically connected to the connector elements implanted on the circuit board 5. . A base 4 is attached to the lower case member b, and a base-type fluorescent lamp is formed by combining and integrating the case member b with the upper case member a.
[0011]
Here, the case 2 is divided into two case members a and b, so that the wiring and connection of the electric wire are relatively easy, and the lead wire 8 of the fluorescent lamp 2 is mechanically connected to the connector element of the circuit board 5. Since the connection is made, productivity and connection reliability are also improved to some extent. However, since the case 2 is formed so as to be divided horizontally, each of the divided case members a and b remains substantially cylindrical, and the above problem cannot be solved sufficiently.
[0012]

[0025]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIGS. 1 to 3 show a first embodiment corresponding to all of claims 1 to 5 of the present invention. A base-type fluorescent lamp of this embodiment has a substantially cylindrical case 2 in which a lighting circuit 1 is housed. And the fluorescent lamp 3 and the base 4 are combined and integrated through the base. In the base-type fluorescent lamp, the substantially cylindrical case 2 is vertically divided into a first case member 2a and a second case member 2b on both sides, and a lighting circuit 1 is provided in the first case member 2a. The fluorescent lamp 3 is held in the second case member 2b, and the two case members 2a and 2b are connected and integrated so as to form a substantially cylindrical case 2.
[0026]
In this case, as the two case members 2a and 2b are mechanically connected, the lighting circuit 1 and the fluorescent lamp 3 are electrically connected. That is, the circuit board 5 having the lighting circuit 1 is vertically held by the first case member 2a so that the plate surface direction substantially matches the cylinder direction of the case 2, and the lighting circuit 1 is assembled. The circuit board 5 is held along the divisional opening of one case member 2a. Then, the output terminal 6 of the lighting circuit 1 is protruded from the circuit board 5 and the terminal receiving portion 7 is formed on the second case member 2b, and the output terminal 6 is engaged with the terminal receiving portion 7 when the connection is integrated. By being combined, the lead wire 8 of the fluorescent lamp 3 is sandwiched between the output terminal 6 and the terminal receiving portion 7 so as to be electrically connected. Here, a cut groove 9 for temporarily holding the lead wire 8 of the fluorescent lamp 3 is formed in the terminal receiving portion 7.
[0027]
Next, a specific structure of the die-type fluorescent lamp will be described in detail. The lighting circuit 1 is formed by mounting various electronic components on a circuit board 5, and supplies lighting power to the fluorescent lamp 3 by being connected to a power supply via a base 4. The case 2 has a substantially cylindrical shape as a whole, and has a large diameter on the side holding the fluorescent lamp 3 and a reduced diameter on the side to which the base 4 is attached. The case 2 is divided into a first case member 2a and a second case member 2b along the direction of the cylinder axis, and both the case members 2a and 2b have a substantially semi-circular cross section. The fluorescent lamp 3 is a substantially U-shaped tube, and both ends (the side where the filament is incorporated) are held by the second case member 2b, and power is supplied from the lighting circuit 1 through a lead wire 8 led out from the same end. It is lit when it is supplied.
[0028]
The two case members 2a and 2b are each integrally formed of a synthetic resin, and the circuit board 5 is held in the first case member 2a along the divided opening. In this case, the outer shape of the circuit board 5 is a shape along the inner surface of the reduced diameter portion of the case 2 and is formed substantially in a T-shape as a whole, and the T-shaped lower end portion 12 is located inside the base 4. It will be inserted and accommodated. A support pin 10 is integrally protruded from the inside of the first case member 2a. The support pin 10 is inserted into and locked in an engagement hole 11 formed in the circuit board 5, so that the circuit The substrate 5 is positioned and held and fixed at the divided opening of the first case member 2a. Here, a plurality of output terminals 6 protruding from one surface of the circuit board 5 protrude to the front side, and the large diameter portion of the first case member 2a accommodates the end holding portion of the fluorescent lamp 3. Space is secured.
[0029]
A support body 13 for holding a plurality of fluorescent lamps 3 is provided at a large-diameter cylindrical end portion of the second case member 2b, and this support body 13 may be formed integrally with the second case member 2b. Alternatively, it may be fitted and attached to the second case member 2b. Further, a plurality of support openings 14 are formed in the support body 13, and both ends of the fluorescent lamp 3 are fitted and fixed to each support opening 14, so that each fluorescent lamp 3 is interposed through the support body 13. It is held by the second case member 2b. At this time, a plurality of lead wires 8 derived from and suspended from the fluorescent lamps 3 are engaged with the notches 9 formed in the terminal receiving portions 7 of the second case member 2b and are temporarily held. The terminal receiving portion 7 is integrally formed in the middle of the second case member 2b as a wall shape juxtaposed to the pair.
[0030]
The two case members 2a and 2b are engaged with each other so that their divided openings face each other, and are combined and integrated with each other. In this case, the part of the second case member 2b that protrudes from the support body 13 is engaged with the inside of the first case member 2a, and the groove-shaped parts 15 formed on both side ends of the support body 13 are formed. The first case member 2a is engaged with a protruding piece 16 protruding from the inner periphery of the large-diameter portion of the cylindrical end portion. Further, the divided opening edges of the case members 2a and 2b are engaged with each other, and at this time, the inclined protrusion 17 protruding inside the divided opening edge of the first case member 2a is divided into the second case member 2b. It is locked by an engagement hole 18 formed in the opening edge portion. At this time, the support pin 10 of the first case member 2a is inserted and fitted into the cylindrical pin 20 protruding inside the second case member 2b, and the tip of the support pin 10 and the cylindrical pin 20 are inserted. The circuit board 5 is sandwiched between the front end and the main body and is firmly held and fixed. The lead wire 8 led out of the fluorescent lamp 3 is engaged and held so as to be bridged. In this state, the output terminal 6 protruding from the circuit board 5 is inserted and engaged between the two wall pieces 19. . As a result, the lead wire 8 is sandwiched between the terminal receiving portion 7 composed of the two wall pieces 19 and the output terminal 6, and the output terminal 6 and the terminal receiving portion 7 are mechanically connected. The lighting circuit 1 and the fluorescent lamp 3 are electrically connected.
[0032]
In this case, the width of the cut groove 9a formed on the wall piece 19 located on the fluorescent lamp 3 side is slightly smaller than the wire diameter of the lead wire 8, and the cut groove formed on the wall piece 19 located on the base 4 side. The groove width of 9b is set slightly larger than the diameter of the lead wire 8. Therefore, the lead wire 8 is locked at the notch 9a to secure its tension, and as the output terminal 6 is inserted between the two wall pieces 19, the leading end of the lead wire 8 is inserted into the notch 9b. The lead wire 8 is prevented from coming off the fluorescent lamp 3 because the lead wire 8 is drawn between the two wall pieces 19 while sliding. In this manner, the plurality of lead wires 8 led out from each fluorescent lamp 3 are similarly simultaneously held between the output terminal 6 and the terminal receiving portion 7, and the electric wires can be easily connected without soldering or the like. Connection is made.
[0033]
Therefore, in the base-type fluorescent lamp of this embodiment, the first case member 2a and the second case member 2b, which are vertically divided and formed on both sides, are connected and integrated to form the substantially cylindrical case 2. Therefore, the circuit board 5 having the lighting circuit 1 can be easily incorporated in a state where the case 2 is divided and opened, and the lighting circuit 1 and the fluorescent lamp 3 and the base 4 are connected to each other. The electrical connection operation can be performed easily and reliably, and the reliability of the electrical connection is improved. Further, the lighting circuit 1 is incorporated in one of the divided first case members 2a, and the fluorescent lamp 3 is held in the other second case member 2b. The operation and the operation of holding and mounting the fluorescent lamp 3 can be performed separately on the two case members 2a and 2b, so that the overall assemblability is improved.
[0034]
In addition, in the base-type fluorescent lamp of this embodiment, the lighting circuit 1 and the fluorescent lamp 3 are also electrically connected by mechanically connecting the two case members 2a and 2b. The work is simplified. Further, since the circuit board 5 having the lighting circuit 1 is held vertically in the cylindrical direction in the substantially cylindrical case 2, the space in the case 2 is the same as the fluorescent lamp 3 side and the base 4 side. Depending on the circuit board 5, it is not partitioned and closed, and the electric wires can be easily routed.
[0035]
Further, in the base-type fluorescent lamp of this embodiment, the circuit board 5 is held along the divided opening of the first case member 2a, and the output terminal 6 protruding from the circuit board 5 and the second case member 2b are connected to the circuit board 5. The lead wire 8 of the fluorescent lamp 3 is sandwiched between the formed terminal receiving portion 7 when the two case members 2a and 2b are connected and integrated, so that the lead wire 8 and the circuit board 5 are turned on. Since the electrical connection with the circuit 1 is made, the electrical connection is simpler and more reliable, and the productivity and the reliability of the electrical connection are further improved.
[0036]
Moreover, in this case, when the two case members 2a and 2b are connected and integrated, the lead wire 8 of the fluorescent lamp 3 is engaged with the notch 9 of the terminal receiving portion 7 and is temporarily held. The lead wire 8 is easily and securely clamped at a predetermined position between the output terminal 6 and the output terminal 6 of the circuit board 5, and the accuracy and reliability of the electrical connection are further improved. When only the fluorescent lamp 3 reaches the end of its life, only the fluorescent lamp 3 can be replaced, which is economical and preferable for the global environment.
[0037]

The cut groove 9 is formed in the piece 22. In this case, in the terminal receiving portion 7, the male connector and the receiving piece 22 are electrically connected.
[0038]
As shown in FIG. 6, the distal end of the lead wire 8 led out from the fluorescent lamp 3 is engaged and held in the notch 9 of the receiving piece 22. In this state, the male connector serving as the terminal receiving portion 7 is connected to the male connector. A female connector serving as the output terminal 6 is fitted and connected. At this time, the distal end of the lead wire 8 is pressed by the female connector serving as the output terminal 6, and the distal end of the lead wire 8 is sandwiched between the terminal receiving portion 7 and the output terminal 6. The fluorescent lamp 3 is electrically connected.
[0039]
