従来の電磁弁における端子箱のシール構造は、端子箱を端子箱本体と蓋とから構成し、端子箱本体は弁本体の上部に備えて電磁石の接続ピンと外部電源からの電気配線とを内部で電気接続し、蓋は端子箱本体の上部開口を閉塞するよう周方向の4個所に配置した4個の取付ねじを締め付けて端子箱本体の上部に取付けている。そして、蓋には凹溝を周設し、この凹溝に断面が角形の環状のパッキンを装着し、端子箱本体にはパッキンの稜部を当接して撓ませる傾斜状の当接面を形成し、端子箱本体に蓋を取付けた状態では、パッキンが当接面に圧接されて端子箱本体と蓋との間をシールしている。(例えば、実公昭64−5902号公報参照)。

ところが、かかる従来の電磁弁における端子箱のシール構造では、当接面にパッキンを圧接すると、この圧接力の反力が取付ねじの締め付けに抗して蓋を略垂直方向の上方へ持ち上げるよう作用するため、特に、取付ねじの配置個所から周方向に離間した個所では当接面へのパッキンの圧接力が弱まってシール性が低下し、端子箱本体と蓋との間の良好なシールが得られ難かった。

このため、本発明では、電磁弁の弁本体上部に備えている電磁弁における端子箱のシール構造であって、端子箱は上部を開口して電磁石と外部電源からの電気配線とを内部で電気接続する端子箱本体と、端子箱本体の上部開口を閉塞するよう複数の取付ねじを略垂直方向の下方へ向けて締め付けて端子箱本体の上部に取付ける蓋とから構成し、端子箱本体と蓋とのいずれか一方には弾力性材料から成形した環状のパッキンを装着すると共に、他方には端子箱本体への蓋の取付けでパッキンと圧接して撓ませる当接面を形成し、パッキンは略水平方向へ延在する第1片と略垂直方向へ延在する第2片とを有し、当接面は端子箱本体への蓋の取付けでパッキンの第1片と圧接して略垂直方向へ撓ませる第1当接部と、パッキンの第2片と圧接して略水平方向へ撓ませる第2当接部とを有して成る。この場合、当接面の第1当接部に略垂直方向へ突出する凸部を形成しても良い。また、パッキンの第1片に略垂直方向へ膨出する第1膨出部を形成すると共に、第2片に略水平方向へ膨出する第2膨出部を形成しても良い。さらにまた、パッキンは蓋に装着し略垂直方向へ延在する第2片の上端部に連設して第1片を略水平方向へ端子箱外方に向けて延在し、第2片の上端部と対向する下端部に第3片を連設し、第3片は略水平方向へ第1片の延在方向と対向する端子箱内方に向けて延在しても良い。さらにまた、蓋には外周縁から略水平方向へ突出して工具係合部を形成し、工具係合部と端子箱本体の上部との間に工具を挿入する挿入間隙を形成し、工具係合部は挿入隙間へ挿入した工具と係合可能に設けても良い。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の第1実施形態を図面に基づき説明する。
図1ないし図3において、1は電磁弁の弁本体で、略直方体形状を成し、 スプール状の弁体2を軸方向へ摺動自在に嵌挿する嵌挿孔3を内部に貫通形成し、弁本体1の両側面に開口する嵌挿孔3の両端部にはそれぞれめねじ部を螺刻している。嵌挿孔3の軸方向の略中央部には圧力流体を供給する供給流路Pを開口し、また、供給流路Pの接続個所の軸方向両側へ間隙を有して流体アクチュエータ(図示せず)に連通する2個の負荷流路A、Bをそれぞれ開口し、さらに両負荷流路A、Bの軸方向外側へ間隙を有して低圧側に連通する排出流路R1、R2をそれぞれ開口している。弁体2は図1の上半分に示す原位置では供給流路Pを負荷流路Aに切換連通すると共に負荷流路Bを排出流路R2に切換連通し、図1の下半分に示す切換位置では供給流路Pを負荷流路Bに切換連通すると共に負荷流路Aを排出流路R1に切換連通するようランド部2A、2Bを備えている。

4は嵌挿孔3の一方のめねじ部に螺合した栓部材で、嵌挿孔3の弁本体1一側面への開口を閉塞している。5は栓部材4の内部に収装したばねで、弁体2を原位置に向けて付勢している。6は電磁石で、固定鉄心7を嵌挿孔3の他方のめねじ部に螺合して弁本体1の他側面に装着し、コイル8への通電により発生する吸引力で可動鉄心9を固定鉄心7に吸着し、この吸着によりピン10を介して弁体2をばね5力に抗して原位置から切換位置に切換作動する。そして、電磁石6にはコイル8へ電気接続した2個の接続ピン11を備え、接続ピン11は略水平方向へ突出して設けている。

13は電磁弁の弁本体1上部に備えた端子箱で、端子箱本体14と蓋15とから構成している。端子箱本体14は上部を開口した略箱形状で、平面で対角線上に配置した2個の取付ねじ16により弁本体1に取付け、対向する両側壁には外部電源からの電気配線16A、16Bを導入する導入孔17A、17Bをそれぞれ開口形成し、一方の導入孔17Aは着脱自在に螺合した栓部材18で閉塞し、他方の導入孔17Bへ着脱自在に螺合したシールコネクタ部材19により電気配線16A、16Bをシールして内部に導入している。なお、他方の導入孔17Bを栓部材18で閉塞し、一方の導入孔17Aにシールコネクタ部材19を螺着して電気配線16A、16Bを導入することも可能である。

端子箱本体14の内部には、端子台20及びプリント基板21を収装して配置し、端子台20には電気配線16A、16Bを端子ねじ22A、22Bにより止着する端子金具23A、23B及び通電により点灯するネオンランプ、発光ダイオード等の表示灯24を備え、端子金具23A、23B、表示灯24はそれぞれプリント基板21に電気接続している。プリント基板21には抵抗、コンデンサ、サージキラー等の種々の回路素子25及び電磁石6の接続ピン11と電気接続する2個の接続金具26を備え、接続ピン11と接続金具26との電気接続は、電磁石6の弁本体1他側面への装着で接続ピン11が端子箱本体14の側壁下方に穿設した挿通孔27を挿通して先端部が接続金具26に嵌合することで成し得る。そして、プリント基板21は端子金具23A、23B、表示灯24、回路素子25、接続金具26との間をプリント配線により電気接続して電気配線16A、16Bから電磁石6への通電を可能にし、この通電で表示灯24を点灯するようにしている。なお、28は端子台20を端子箱本体14に固定するねじである。

蓋15は透明色の樹脂材より成形し、4隅に配置した4個の取付ねじ29を端子箱本体14のねじ孔14Bに螺合して略垂直方向の下方へ向けて締め付けることで端子箱本体14に取付けて端子箱本体14の上部開口14Aを閉塞し、表面には表示灯24の点灯を外部から視認可能に表示部15Aを形成している。図4に示す如き、蓋15の裏面には上部開口14Aの平面形状に沿った環状の凹溝30を窪み形成すると共に、凹溝30の略水平方向の内方へ連設して環状の支持部31を略垂直方向の下方へ突出形成している。そして、支持部31は、図5及び図6に示す如き、凹溝30に連なる外面31Aを下方に向けて順次内方に位置する若干の傾斜面に形成している。32A、32Bは蓋15の外周縁における対向する2箇所に略水平方向へ突出して形成した工具係合部で、図6に示す如き、蓋15を端子箱本体14に取付けた状態で端子箱本体14の上部との間にドライバー等の工具(図示せず)を挿入する挿入間隙33を形成し、挿入間隙33へ挿入した工具と係合可能に設けて蓋15の端子箱本体14からの取外しを容易にする。

34はNBR等の弾性材料から成形した環状のパッキンで、蓋15の凹溝30に装着している。図5及び図6に示す如き、パッキン34は凹溝30に沿って水平方向へ延在する第1片34Aと、第1片34Aの水平方向の内方端へ連設して支持部31の外面31Aに沿って若干傾斜して略垂直方向へ延在する第2片34Bとを有している。端子箱本体14には蓋15の取付けでパッキン34を圧接して撓ませる当接面35を形成し、当接面35はパッキン34の第1片34Aと圧接して略垂直方向へ撓ませる第1当接部35Aと、パッキン34の第2片34Bと圧接して略水平方向へ撓ませる第2当接部35Bとを有し、第1当接部35Aは上部開口14Aの外周縁に水平方向の外方へ連なる水平面であり、第2当接部35Bは上部開口14Aの外周縁に垂直方向の下方へ連なる垂直面である。なお、第2当接部35Bはパッキン34の第2片34Bが若干傾斜しているため、第2片34Bの第1片34Aとの連設側を圧接し、第2片34Bの略垂直方向の先端側との間には略水平方向へ微小な隙間が存在する。36は断面形状が半円形で略垂直方向の上方へ向けて突出する凸部で、当接面35の第1当接部35Aにおける上部開口14Aの外周縁近傍に沿って環状に形成している。

次に、かかる構成の作動を説明する。
図1における弁体2の上半分は電磁石6への非通電状態を示し、弁体2はばね5力で原位置に保持され、供給流路Pを負荷流路Aに切換連通すると共に負荷流路Bを排出流路R2に切換連通している。

この状態で、外部電源の電気配線16A、16Bより電磁石6のコイル8に通電すると、通電により発生する吸引力で可動鉄心9が固定鉄心7に吸着され、ピン10を介して弁体2をばね5力に抗して図1の下半分に示す切換位置に作動し、供給流路Pを負荷流路Bに切換連通すると共に負荷流路Aを排出流路R1に切換連通する。このとき、コイル8への通電により表示灯24が点灯し、この点灯を外部から表示部15Aで視認できる。

かかる作動で、電気配線16A、16Bは、蓋15を端子箱本体14から取外した状態で、作業者が端子箱本体14の上部開口14Aからドライバー等の工具を用いて端子ねじ22A、22Bを端子金具23A、23Bに締め付けて電気配線16A、16Bを端子金具23A、23Bに止着し、この後、4個の取付ねじ29をねじ孔14Bに螺合して略垂直方向の下方へ向けて締め付け蓋15を端子箱本体14に取付けて端子箱本体14の上部開口14Aを閉塞する。そして、端子箱本体14への蓋15の取付けで、パッキン34の第1片34Aを当接面35の第1当接部35Aに圧接して略垂直方向へ撓ませて端子箱本体14と蓋15との間をシールすると共に、パッキン34の第2片34Bを当接面35の第2当接部35Bに圧接して略水平方向へ撓ませて端子箱本体14と蓋と15の間をシールする。このため、取付ねじ29配置個所から周方向に離間した個所で、第1当接部35Aへの第1片34Aの圧接において圧接力の反力が蓋15を略垂直方向の上方へ持ち上げるよう作用し、第1当接部35Aへの第1片34Aの圧接力が弱まってシール性が低下したとしても、第2片34Bは略水平方向へ撓んで第2当接部35Bに圧接しているから、この圧接力が蓋15を略垂直方向の上方へ持ち上げる影響を受けて弱まることなくできて良好なシール性を維持でき、端子箱本体14と蓋15との間でパッキン34を異なる2方向に圧接できて端子箱本体14と蓋15との間の良好なシールを得ることができる。

また、パッキン34の第2片34Bを当接面35の第2当接部35Bに圧接して略水平方向へ撓ませるため、蓋15には第2当接部35Bへの第2片34Bの圧接において圧接力の反力が略水平方向の内方へ作用し、この反力が第1当接部35Aへの第1片34Aの圧接で蓋15を略垂直方向の上方へ持ち上げる抵抗となって持ち上げを抑制でき、端子箱本体14と蓋15との間の一層良好なシールを得ることができる。また、当接面35の第1当接部35Aに略垂直方向の上部へ向けて突出する凸部36を形成しているため、第1当接部35Aに圧接するパッキン34の第1片34Aを凸部36へ圧接させて確実に撓ませることができ、確実なシール性を得ることができる。また、パッキン34の第2片34Bを略垂直方向の下方へ向けて順次内方に位置する若干の傾斜形状に形成しているため、パッキン34の第2片34Bを円滑に上部開口14Aへ入り込ませることができ、蓋15を端子箱本体14へ容易に取付けることができる。また、蓋15には外周縁から略水平方向へ突出して形成した工具係合部32A、32Bと端子箱本体14の上部との間に工具を挿入する挿入間隙33を形成し、工具係合部32A、32Bは挿入隙間33へ挿入した工具と係合可能に設けているため、取付ねじ29をねじ孔14Bから取外して蓋15を端子箱本体14から取外す際に、作業者が工具係合部32A、32Bに係合した工具を略垂直方向の上方へ持ち上げることで、蓋15を端子箱本体14から簡単に取外すことができる。
