該1次元ルックアップテーブルにより得られた、前記第1及び第2の色成分に対応する2つのデータを多次元のアドレスとして入力し、それぞれの色成分に相関関係を有する量子化結果を出力する多次元ルックアップテーブルとを備え、
前記1次元ルックアップテーブルは、アドレスとして入力される前記加算結果の取り得るレンジに対して、実質的に1/9のレンジのデータを出力することを特徴とする画像処理装置。
