[Industrial applications]
The present invention is an unprecedented portable sensor that can freely cope with an irregular liquid or gas expected between the light source and the light receiving surface, and furthermore, any crisis site and distribution with only the operation of passing the fiber. Measurement is possible, so that it can be applied to a wide range of applications, such as setting to a new device in a new field as well as mounting to a conventional device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Since light reception and light emission are substantially fixed from the surface of the mechanism, the equipment location is limited, and attention must be paid to the installation, and the multi-purpose measurement of distribution is more complicated, and no corresponding sensor is found.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
To realize portable measurement such as gas and liquid concentration distribution in large space, large water tank, etc. To develop a sensor that can be easily attached to conventional models, even for amateurs.

【Example】
FIG. 1 shows a basic configuration diagram of a simplified optical sensor. The fiber (1), the fiber (2), and the fiber (3) are integral fibers. Only the fiber (2) is obtained by peeling the coating outer body and the reflecting layer by an arbitrary length. Light is projected on the light receiving element to catch optical information. The broken line 6 at the center of the fiber indicates the optical path at the center of the fiber. In the region of the fiber (1) and the region of the fiber (2), the attenuation is extremely small, but in the region of the fiber (2), the optical path is scattered, and at the same time, is exposed to the fluid from the side, is selectively absorbed, and a certain kind of light is emitted. Is received by the light receiving element. Here, the light emitting wavelength and the luminous intensity of the light emitting element are selected in advance according to the purpose, and then the element itself is selected and mounted. A similar selection is made for the light receiving element. The optical influence of the flow of the fluid 7 is caught by the output of the light receiving element. That is, the fiber (1), the fiber (2), and the fiber (3) function as a sensor by acting as a main body for catching various kinds of optical information of a fluid in contact with the fiber (2) in the area of the fiber (2). . FIG. 2 shows an example of a configuration in which the entire fiber of this sensor is elongated. The fiber used is a multi-mode step type or a single-mode graded type, which more suits the purpose.
[0005]
Up to this point, the development was performed using one fiber, but FIG. 3 shows an example in which a plurality of fibers are used. Next, a case where an optional optical fiber is used will be described. Regardless of a single fiber optical sensor or a plurality of fiber optical sensors, if the amount of scattered waves is too large in the area of the exfoliated fiber, the loss increases and the sensitivity decreases. For the purpose of reducing this scattered wave, an original fiber that has not been treated, that is, has not been subjected to a peeling process even if it is a part, is arranged around the sensor body to form an inner reflecting wall. This example is shown in FIG. 4 and FIG.
FIG. 4 shows an example of an optional fiber in the case of a single fiber, and FIG. 5 shows an example of an optional fiber in the case of a plurality of fibers.
The diameter of this fiber may be thicker or thinner than the fiber gauge of the optical sensor of the main body, but it is necessary to install the fiber within a range that does not greatly impede the flow of the fluid to be measured. The formation of the reflection reflection layer by the optional fiber prevents a decrease in sensor efficiency.
[0006]
Next, a separation type fiber sensor in which a complete gap is provided between the light emitting fiber and the light receiving fiber will be described. FIG. 6 is an example of a separation type sensor. Numeral 10 denotes a light emitting fiber, 11 denotes a light receiving fiber, and 12 gaps are provided between the centers of the fibers. An appropriate holder is required to maintain this gap. FIG. 6 shows an example in which the main light emitting and receiving fibers are bonded and fixed with optional fibers.

【The invention's effect】
The optical sensor of the present invention is a unique, compact and lightweight sensor suitable for portable use. Therefore, it is possible to easily prepare for measurement of a large pool, a space of a certain size, and the like, which were difficult to cope with in the past. Further, anyone can easily attach the device to the device only by securing a fiber passage, so that it is easy to consider mounting the device on a conventional device. Next is the maintenance, which is easy to handle because most can be processed in a simple form called fiber replacement. We can expect to expand marketability.
