【従来の技術】
「住宅の品質確保の促進等に関する法律」(いわゆる品確法)の施行に伴い、その指定住宅性能評価機関が公表する優良住宅部品認定基準によれば、流し台や洗面台に関して、維持管理、部品交換の容易性の確保という観点より、器具排水管は原則として直管とすべき旨が定められている。つまり、同基準によれば、器具排水管には耐食性、耐薬品性、耐熱性のほか、内面が平滑であることを要求している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、流し台等の器具側排水口と建物側排水口の口軸がずれている場合は両者排水口を直管で接続することはできない。このよう場合、従来はジャバラ管を用いていたが、これでは上述した基準、特に内面平滑性が満たされない。一方、図7に示したように、上下二分割の自在型排水管もあり、これであれば器具側排水口と建物側排水口の口軸にずれが生じている場合でも適用することができるが、特殊な成型が必要で、しかもコスト高である。

本発明は、こうした課題を解決するもので、その目的は、直管を器具排水管として使用するときに用いる偏心アダプタを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上述した目的を達成するために本発明では、内部に通水空間を有する本体の下部に中心軸から偏心して建物側排水口又は直管上端との接続部を設けると共に、上部に前記中心軸を回転軸として直管下端又は器具側排水口との接続部を回転可能に設けるという手段を用いた。より具体的には、内部に通水空間を有し、上面に円形の開口部を備えた本体と、前記開口部の中心軸から偏心して本体の下部に一体に設けられた建物側排水口又は直管上端との接続部と、前記開口部に回転可能に取付けられる回転部と、該回転板にその中心軸から偏心して一体に設けられた直管下端又は器具側排水口との接続部とから直管用偏心アダプタを構成した(請求項2)。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、添付した図面に従って本発明の最良な実施の形態を説明する。図1は、本発明アダプタの分解斜視図である。同図中、1は上面に円形の開口部1aを備えた本体、2は本体1の下部に一体に設けられた円筒状の下端接続部、3は本体1の開口部1aに取付けられる円盤状の回転部、4は該回転部3に一体に設けられた円筒状の上端接続部である。

各部材の構造を図2に従ってさらに詳述する。本体1は、開口部1aの中心軸から偏心させたホッパ状の胴部1bが形成され、その排出部1cに下端接続部2が取付けられている。この実施形態の場合、下端接続部2は雌ネジ2aを形成してなる袋ナットから構成されている。一方、回転部3は、本体1の開口部1aに回転可能にはめ込まれるリブ3aを有する。また、中心軸から偏心する通孔3bが上下貫通して設けられ、該通孔3bと同軸となるように上端接続部4が上方に突出して一体成型されている。3cはOリングである。なお、上端接続部4は雄ネジ4aが刻設されている。

図3は、本アダプタの施工例を示したものである。同図中、5は流し台のシンク、6は排水トラップ、7は器具排水管である。器具排水管7は直管である。8は、床下に配管された建物側排水管であり、その立ち上がり管8aは器具排水管7と口軸がずれている。9は床であり、アダプタを介して立ち上がり管8aと器具排水管7の接続が完了すれば、その作業口9aは蓋板10によって閉塞される。

即ち、本アダプタは、下端接続部2と立ち上がり管8aとの接続作業において、本体1の開口部1aが排出口1cの中心軸を回転軸として360度の範囲で位置決めでき(図4の仮想線参照)、且つ、この位置決めされた開口部1aの中心軸を回転軸として上端接続部4を360度の範囲で位置決めできる(図5の仮想線参照)。よって、本アダプタによれば、開口部1aの回転範囲と上端接続部4の回転範囲を組み合わせた範囲で、立ち上がり管8aと器具排水管7の口軸のずれを吸収することができる。

そして、上記要領で開口部1a及び上端接続部4の位置決めが完了したなら、上端接続部4の雄ネジ4aに器具排水管7の下端側ナット7aを取付ける。下端接続部2は開口部1aの位置決め時に立ち上がり管8aに螺合しておくことはもちろんである。最後に、本アダプタによる接続作業が完了すれば、回転部3と本体1の開口部1aを接着剤により固定する。不用意な回転によって事後的な接続不良が生じないようにするためである。

続いて、施工後における本アダプタの機能について説明すると、器具排水管7として直管が利用できるだけでなく、本アダプタ自体、内面平滑性を有し、且つ、耐食性等を有する素材によって成型されるから、品質に優れる。また、アダプタの取り外しも容易であるから、メンテナンスあるいは部品交換も容易である。さらに、成型も容易であって、コスト的にも有利である。さらに、本体1はホッパ状の胴部1bを形成しているので、流路抵抗が小さい。ここで本体1は、異物を滞留させないように縦幅(高さ)を短く設定することが好ましい。ただし、余り短く設定しすぎると流路抵抗が増加し、逆流のおそれがあるため、適当な幅に設定する。

なお、上記実施形態ではホッパ型の本体1を採用したが、本体1の形状はこれに限らず、立方体、直方体、球状体、その他の立体的形状であってもよい。また、回転部3の形状も、上記実施形態のように平板状に限らず、立体的形状としてもよい。即ち、図6に示したように本体1と回転部3を共に半球状とすることもできる。本発明において必要なことは、内部に通水空間を有し、下端接続部を中心軸から偏心して設けると共に、前記中心軸から偏心して設けた上端接続部を回転可能に設けることである。さらに、上記実施形態では、本体1の上面に開口部1aを設け、これに回転部3を設けたが、本体1の下面を開口し、これに下端接続部を一体成型した回転部をはめ込むようにしてもよい。この場合、回転部が自重によって落下しないように密に嵌入するなどの構成を採用する。ただし、該回転部の回転を許容することはもちろんである。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、器具側排水口と建物側排水口の口軸にずれが生じている場合でも、両者排水口を直管により接続できるから、優良住宅部品認定基準等の品質基準を満足する。また、ナットの締め込みで取り付けできるから施工性も良好である。さらに、比較的簡易な構成であるから、従来のプラスチック成型を適用することによって成型も容易であり、コスト面でも有利である。
