[0014]
The hoop supply mechanism 10 unwinds the hoop H from the hoop coil HC and sends it to the hoop binding mechanism 30. Note that the configuration of the hoop supply mechanism 10 itself is the same as that of a known one, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0015]
The hoop guide 20 includes a required number of outer guide members 21, 21,... And an inner guide member 22. The inner guide member 22 includes a right guide divided body 23, a left guide divided body 24, It consists of The right guide divided body 23 and the left guide divided body 24 can be moved back and forth between a standby position and a guide position, respectively, and the inner guide member is in a state where the right guide divided body 23 and the left guide divided body 24 are at the guide position. An annular loop is formed by the outer guide members 22 and the outer guide members 21, 21,..., So that the hoop H delivered from the hoop binding mechanism 30 can be guided. Since the configuration of the hoop guide 20 itself is the same as that of a known one, detailed description thereof is omitted.
[0016]
The hoop bundling mechanism 30 is disposed at an appropriate position on each outer guide member 21 of the hoop guide 20 so as to be able to advance and retreat with respect to the metal coil C, and sends out the hoop H supplied from the hoop supply mechanism 10 to the hoop guide 20. The hoop H wound with the metal coil C guided by the hoop guide 20 is bound. Note that the configuration of the hoop binding mechanism 30 itself is the same as a known configuration, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0017]
As shown in FIG. 3, the label attaching mechanism 40 includes a supply roller 41 that unwinds a roll of the base paper band 1 in which the base paper (hereinafter simply referred to as base paper) 3 of the identification label is continuously attached to the peeling backing 2, A supply-side guide roller group (not clearly shown) 42 for guiding the base paper strip 1 unwound from the supply roller 41 and an identification label 4 by printing identification information on the base paper 2 attached to the base paper strip 1 An identification information printing device 43, a reversing roller 44 for reversing the peeling backing sheet 2 after the printing of the identification information and sending out the identification label 4 while peeling off the separating labeling sheet 2, and adsorbing the identification label 4 sent to the reversing roller 44 And a take-up roller 46 that winds up the peeling board 2 from which the identification label 4 has been peeled off, and a peeling board that has been turned over by the reversing roller 44. The detection signal of the sensor 50 is sent to the control device 60.
[0022]
The control device 60 is, for example, a computer, and controls the hoop supply mechanism 10, the hoop guide 20, the hoop binding mechanism 30, the label attaching mechanism 40, and the like.
[0023]
Next, the binding of the metal coil C by the binding device A having such a configuration will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 4, illustration of the hoop guide 20 and the label attaching mechanism 40 is omitted for ease of understanding. The following operation is performed based on a command from the control device 60.
[0024]
(1) The hoop H is fed to the hoop binding mechanism 30 by the hoop supply mechanism 10.
[0025]
(2) The tip of the hoop H passing through the hoop binding mechanism 30 is detected by the sensor 50 (see FIG. 4A), and the detection signal is sent to the control device 60.

[0028]
(5) The metal coil C is carried into the hoop guide 20.
[0029]
(6) The right guide divided body 23 and the left guide divided body 24 of the inner guide member 22 are set to the guide position, an annular loop is formed by the hoop guide 20, and the hoop guide 20 is bound.
[0030]
(7) After the feeding of the hoop H is resumed and the hoop H is wound around the metal coil C, the hoop H is temporarily stopped by the binding seal S (see FIG. 4B).
[0031]
(8) Tightening the hoop H, binding the hoop H with the binding seal S, and cutting the hoop H. Thus, the metal coil C is bound by the hoop H with the identification label 4 (see FIG. 4C).
[0032]

[0033]
As described above, according to the first embodiment, since the identification label 4 is attached to the hoop H when the hoop guide 20 is in the standby state, the metal coil C can be shipped immediately after the binding by the hoop H is completed, and the work efficiency is improved. Cycle time is reduced. Further, the label pasting mechanism 40 is integrated with the hoop binding mechanism 30 and the only newly added sensor is the sensor 50 that detects the tip of the hoop, so that the configuration is simplified. Furthermore, by changing the mounting position of the sensor 50, the mounting position of the identification label 4 can be changed.
[0034]
In the first embodiment, the tip of the hoop H is detected by the sensor 50. However, when the right guide divided body 23 and the left guide divided body 24 of the hoop guide 20 are at the standby position, that is, the hoop guide 20 By supplying a predetermined amount of the hoop H when in the standby state, the sensor 50 can be omitted. By doing so, the structure is further simplified.
[0035]
Embodiment 2
FIGS. 5 to 8 show a metal coil binding device A1 applied to the metal coil binding method according to the second embodiment of the present invention. Since the binding device A1 is the same as the binding device of the first embodiment except that no sensor is provided, a detailed description of the configuration is omitted.
[0036]
Next, a metal coil binding method according to the second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 9, illustration of the hoop guide 20 and the label attaching mechanism 40 is omitted for easy understanding. The following operation is performed based on a command from the control device 60.
[0037]
(1) The metal coil C is carried into the hoop guide 20.
[0038]
(2) The right guide divided body 23 and the left guide divided body 24 of the inner guide member 22 are set as guide positions, an annular loop is formed by the hoop guide 20, and the hoop guide 20 is bound.
[0039]
(3) After the hoop H is wound around the metal coil C, the hoop H is temporarily fixed by the binding seal S (see FIG. 9A).
[0040]
(4) The hoop H is tightened and cut, and the label attaching mechanism 40 attaches the identification label 4 near the binding position of the hoop H. Thus, the metal coil C is bound by the hoop H with the identification label 4 (see FIG. 4B).
[0041]
(5) After the right guide divided body 23 and the left guide divided body 24 of the inner guide member 22 are set to the standby position, the metal coil C is unloaded from the binding device A1 (see FIG. 4C).
[0042]
As described above, according to the second embodiment, since the identification label 4 is attached to the hoop H when the hoop H is cut, the work efficiency is further improved, and the cycle time is further reduced.
[0043]
As described above, the present invention has been described based on the embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to only such embodiments, and various modifications are possible. For example, in the embodiment, the identification label on which the identification information is printed is affixed to the hoop, but the identification information may be printed directly on the hoop. In the embodiment, the number of label attaching mechanisms is one, but the number of label attaching mechanisms is not limited to one, and may be plural.
[0044]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, since the identification label is affixed to the hoop at the time of completion of the binding of the metal coil, it becomes possible to ship the bundle at the same time as the binding, thereby improving the work efficiency and shortening the cycle time. This is an excellent effect.
