該チャンネルマッピング情報に基づいて、統合されたチャンネルマップを作成するステップと、
該統合されたチャンネルマップにおける重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目を識別するステップであって、該重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目は、該重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目を削除するか否かを決定するために用いられる所定の削除基準に関連付けられている、ステップと、
該所定の削除基準に基づいて、該統合されたチャンネルマップから該重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目を削除するステップと、
該統合されたチャンネルマップに基づいて、統合された電子番組ガイドを作成するステップと

【請求項3】 統合された電子番組ガイドを作成するシステムであって、
第1の信号源によって担われるテレビ局の第1のリストと第2の信号源によって担われるテレビ局の第2のリストとを受信するように構成された受信器と、
該受信器に接続され、複数のプログラム命令を実行するように動作可能なプロセッサと
を含み、
該複数のプログラム命令は、
該第1のリストおよび第2のリストから、該第1の信号源および該第2の信号源の両方によって担われる重複するテレビ局を識別することと、
該重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目を削除するために、所定の削除基準に基づいて、該第1の信号源または該第2の信号源のいずれか一方を選択することと、

該チャンネルマッピング情報に基づいて、統合されたチャンネルマップを作成する手段と、
該統合されたチャンネルマップにおける重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目を識別する手段であって、該重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目は、該重複するテレビ局の番組リスト項目を削除するか否かを決定するために用いられる所定の削除基準に関連する、手段と、
