A first housing having a main operation section;
A second housing having a display portion;
A hinge portion that rotatably couples the first and second housings so that the main operation portion and the display portion face each other when folded;
A battery cover that is detachably attached to the outer surface of the first housing when folded;
A cellular phone, wherein a functional module for adding a new function to the cellular phone is mounted on the battery cover. In a foldable mobile phone,
A first housing having a main operation section;
A second housing having a display portion;
A hinge portion that rotatably couples the first and second housings so that the main operation portion and the display portion face each other when folded;
With a decorative cover that is detachably attached to the outer surface when folded,
A cellular phone, wherein a functional module for adding a new function to the cellular phone is mounted on the decorative cover. 4. The mobile phone according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the functional module has connection means for obtaining at least operating power from the mobile phone body.   5. The mobile phone according to claim 4, further comprising means for detecting attachment of the cover, and starting power supply to the functional module when the attachment is detected. The mobile phone according to claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein a connection means connectable to a plurality of types of function modules is provided on the main body side of the mobile phone, and any function module can be selectively mounted.   7. The mobile phone according to claim 6, further comprising: means for identifying the plurality of types of functional modules; and control means for performing predetermined settings according to the identification result.
