Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that mites and bacteria are easy to grow because moisture collects by the perspiration action during sleeping of a person within a mat used in a bed, a stench due to the excrements and dead bodies of these mites and bacteria hangs over within the mat, mildew grows in the bed and the mat and a large amount of microorganisms and various bacteria propagate themselves, so that a user of the bed cannot sleep quietly and his health is injured.
SOLUTION: An article accommodating bag formed of an air permeable material is attached to the inside of the mat and a dryer or a dehydrating agent is put in this to absorb the moisture within a mat structure. A drug taking in and out port, which can be opened and shut, is formed on the side of the mat. Ventilation is possible between a spring bag and a chemical accommodating bag within the mat and the moisture within the mat and the spring bag is brought into contact with the drier to absorb.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

[Problems to be solved] It is said that an adult should sweat as much as two glasses while sleeping. During sleep, human physiological activity becomes inactive, body temperature drops, and sweating occurs. The moisture of sweat is absorbed by the futon. In the case of beds, most are absorbed in the mat. For this reason, the humidity inside the futon or mat rises, and environmental conditions suitable for the generation and habitation of microorganisms and bacteria such as mites are formed.
There is also a problem with the bad odor caused by the droppings and dead bodies of a large amount of microorganisms and bacteria. Therefore, in order to ensure healthy and comfortable sleep, so-called sun-drying, in which the futon is exposed to ultraviolet rays to be sterilized and exposed to sunlight to be dried, is routinely performed. However, since the bed mats are large and heavy, it is difficult to put them outdoors.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems of conventional mats. in short,
In the mat of the present invention, a drying and deodorant is placed inside the mat to eliminate the water accumulated therein and remove the bad odor caused by the generated microorganisms and germs. Hereinafter, the mat with dehumidifying and deodorizing function of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

1 is a perspective view of a mat of the present invention, an outer side surface of the mat 1 in FIG. 1 has an opening extending in the lateral direction, and a fastener 2 is attached to the opening. The opening is formed on the entire circumference or a part of the side surface of the mat. As shown in FIG. 2 showing a part of the mat 1 in cross section, a spring bag 6 is provided inside the mat, and a large number of springs 8 are accommodated inside the bag. The springs 8 are individually housed in pockets 8 (not shown), as is well known to those skilled in the art. A cushioning material 7 such as felt is applied to the upper and lower ends of the spring 8 placed in each pocket. These cushioning materials prevent the ends of the spring from impacting the human body, and at the same time prevent the ends from breaking through the spring bag 6. A window is formed on the side surface of the spring bag 6, and a window 5 with a net is obtained by tensioning a net there. The netted window 5 is provided around the entire circumference of the spring bag 6 or a part thereof. Sweat is mainly on the upper half of the body, so it may be limited to the upper half of the mat. On the outside of the window 5 with a net, a bag 3 for storing moisture and deodorant is attached. An opening with an inner fastener 4 is formed on the side surface of the accommodation bag 3 to allow the medicine to be taken in and out. Next, the usage of the present invention will be described. First, the outer fastener 2 is opened, then the inner fastener 4 is opened, and a chemical agent such as a desiccant is put in the accommodation bag 3. Water in the mat 1 comes into contact with the medicine through the window 5 with a net and is absorbed. The lower humidity in the mat reduces the generation of bacteria and consequently the malodor. Chemicals for dehumidifying and deodorizing are marketed at relatively low prices by chemical manufacturers. In a breathable bag, for example, silica gel, zinc oxide,
The photocatalytic titanium oxide is encapsulated. Since the water absorption of these chemicals is indicated by discoloration, the water absorption capacity of the chemicals is restored when they are taken out of the bag and dried in direct sunlight. The medicine containing bag 3 can be attached to the inside of the surface of the mat. In this case, for example, the label portion is used in the lower half of the mat where the weight of the user is not so heavy. This part can be opened and closed with Velcro (registered trademark) or the like, and a net bag is attached to the inside. By providing a ventilation hole in the spring pocket, the water content inside is removed by the pumping action of the movement of the human body on the mat. In addition, if valuables such as banknotes and passbooks are put in the storage bag 3, it is possible to prevent theft. If a commercially available drug is attached together with the instructions for use when the bed is shipped from the manufacturer, the commercial value of the bed or mat is increased.

As described above, according to the present invention, the user of the bed or mat can not only get a healthy and comfortable sleep, but also secure a safe storage place for the property.
