2. Description of the Related Art A tatami mat is a custom-made product which is usually manufactured by measuring the dimensions of a completed room and manufacturing it accordingly. Therefore, even if the room of the building is completed, the actual room is not completed until the tatami craftsmen measure it, manufacture the tatami mat, and bring it in.

[0003] In addition, because of the labor costs of this tatami craftsman, and tatami had become really cost because it is made to order. As long as these old methods are followed, the total cost of tatami mats is increasing rather than decreasing due to soaring labor costs, even if the cost of products is decreasing. Almost all other building materials are mass-produced products that are either brought in at the same time the house is completed or used at the same time as the house is assembled. Therefore, the cost can be reduced, and the labor cost is almost zero for prefabricated houses.

Even in the case of tatami mats, if this method is adopted and all tatami mats are manufactured exactly in a factory with a predetermined size and the room of the house is manufactured according to the size, there is no problem. The steps such as on-site measurement and subsequent manufacturing of each piece can be omitted.

However, the dimensioning of each room on site may be a little confused. Also, in carpentry, such slight deviations can be adjusted in the next step as many times as necessary. Of course,
Even with the prefabricated method, 100% of all products are not exactly in size and at a predetermined angle. In such a case, when the completed tatami mat is inserted, a gap may be formed or the mat may not be inserted. If it does not enter, the room itself will have to be refurbished, requiring a considerable amount of time and money. Also, if there is a gap, it is very unsightly and not very commercial.

Further, there are cases in which the members themselves constituting the tatami frame are not straight. For example, wood may be curved due to drying or the like, or may be bent during cutting.

After all, because of such fears, only tatami mats were custom-made as before. For this reason, it was against the measures to reduce the cost as much as possible by using the prefabricated construction method and mass-produced products.

Furthermore, it is possible to fix only the first to third sides (sills, etc.) of the room first, lay a tatami mat there, and then construct the remaining sides. However, it takes time and effort to spread the tatami mat, determine the position, raise it again, and construct it.

The applicant has also devised a method of putting a member having a U-shaped cross section in a portion where the side surfaces of the tatami mat are in contact with each other, and inserting the tatami mat into the member so that the gap cannot be seen, and has filed a patent application.
However, this method cannot be used for tatami mats having different thicknesses and must be manufactured for each thickness. Also, because the thickness is not constant, even if it is a predetermined one, there are gaps,
In some cases, you may not enter.

Here, the part of the tatami room that comes into contact with the side surface of the tatami is, for example, a wall, a sill, a floor, a corridor, etc., and there are all combinations thereof. It is the part where (not necessarily finishing) has been decided. Moreover, since it directly or indirectly contacts, another member may be present between this portion and the side surface of the tatami mat. Such a member includes not only a plate material like a filler when the size of the room is not correct, but also a board when the board is provided around the tatami mat (only one side or two sides).

The tatami flooring member of the present invention comprises two members, a bottom member and a top member. The bottom member includes a bottom portion and an upright portion, the bottom portion is a portion fixed to the floor plate, and the upright portion is a portion that engages with the upper surface member. The bottom member is preferably an integrally molded plastic product. The structure for engaging is a trade-off with the top member and will be described later. Although the height of the standing portion is not particularly limited, it is preferably not more than about half the thickness of the tatami mat. Usually, about 2/3 of the expected tatami thickness is suitable. The entire length is preferably the same length as one side of the tatami mat, but it may be shortened to accommodate a plurality of sheets, or lengthened to 1
It may be more than one tatami mat. The bottom is preferably thin so as not to cause a step, but may be slightly thick depending on the flexibility of the bottom itself, the flexibility of the back surface of the tatami mat, and the like. Usually 2m
A thickness of m or less is preferable. Further, it is also preferable that the tip portion (the side away from the standing portion) is tapered.

The upper surface member has a surface portion and a hanging portion. The hanging portion is a portion that engages with the rising portion.
The method of engagement is simple in that one is fitted into the other. The fitted part is friction engagement, latch type,
Engagement due to unevenness, screw type, etc. Also, on the surface part,
You may make it match a tatami room by applying various kinds of printing or attaching a decorative sheet, a decorative film, cloth or the like. The hanging part does not need to exist over the entire length like the above-mentioned rising part. However, insertion (engagement) is easier when at least either the hanging portion or the standing portion is present over the entire length.

A portion of the tatami mat is inserted between the engaged bottom member and top member. Of course, it is for hiding the gap, so there is no gap between the tatami mat and the tatami mat. The tatami mat to be inserted rides on the bottom of the bottom member,

If the gap is large, the tatami itself may not move when the tatami mat is inserted because it is not fixed. Therefore, a deformable member may be inserted between the bottom and the surface. The deformable member is a member such as rubber, semi-rigid, soft sponge, and independent foamed plastic which can be deformed by the tatami construction by human power. The deformation may be elastic or plastic like rubber. In the case of elastic deformation, there must be a deformable space.

The shape of the deformable member is preferably a rod shape having a rectangular, circular or elliptical cross section so that it can be easily deformed and stored easily. In addition, although the length is free, there are cases where the gap changes in the longitudinal direction and it may not be possible to absorb it due to deformation. Therefore, a plurality of short pieces may be inserted.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The present invention will now be described in more detail based on the embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of a tatami flooring member 1 of the present invention. In this figure, it is in a state before the bottom member 2 and the top member 3 are engaged with each other. The bottom member 2 includes a bottom portion 4 and a rising portion 5. In this example, the plastic is integrally molded. Even plastics that have some elasticity are desirable.

The upper surface member 3 has a surface portion 6 and a hanging portion 7.
It consists of The upper surface member 3 is also integrally molded of plastic as in the above. Further, the engagement between the upright portion 5 and the hanging portion 7 is uneven (even with large friction, spiral protrusion,
It may be a concentric circular protrusion). Since it is made of plastic, it can be inserted over unevenness when pressed. The thinnest tatami mat is when pushed all the way in. In this example, the hanging part 7 is of a female type and the standing part 6 is of a male type, but of course it may be reversed.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing a usage state of the example of FIG. The corners are regulated by the floor plate 8 and the wall surface 9. A tatami mat 10 is provided on the wall surface 9. It is assumed that a gap is created when the ready-made tatami mat 11 (standard tatami mat) is spread here. As shown in the figure, the tatami mat laying member 1 of the present invention is placed at a corner.
As the mounting method, first, the bottom member 2 is fixed to the floor plate 8 with a double-sided adhesive tape. Of course, it does not have to be fixed. Tatami 11 is laid there. Then, the upper surface member 3 is fitted from above. Then, the surface portion 6 is pressed until it comes into close contact with the tatami mat 11. This is the end. As is clear from FIG. 2, no gap is visible from above.

FIG. 3 is a view of a portion similar to FIG. 2, showing another example, but omitting floor plates, wall surfaces, tatami mats and the like. In this example, the upright portion 5 and the hanging portion 7 are of an inclined type rather than an insertion type. A deformable member 13 is inserted in the gap 12. This is a rubber rod. Select and use a size that fits the tatami mat 11 in a slightly deformed state.

As described above, since the upright portion 5 of the bottom member 2 is pressed toward the wall surface by the tatami mat 11 and the deformable member 13, the upright portion 5 engages with the hanging portion 7 with sufficient force, and the upper surface member 3 moves upward. There is no way out.

FIG. 6 shows the tatami mat laying member of the present invention in which the tatami mat is not inserted but the plate member 16 is inserted. This is called a cosmetic filler placed around the tatami mat.
In this case, if the plate member 16 is fixed at a predetermined position, the tatami mat can be spread tightly. The space between the plate member 16 and the end of the room should be hidden. Further, since the plate member 16 is not raised or laid like a tatami mat, it may be fixed to the floor plate with a screw 17 as shown in the figure. At this time, it is convenient to fix it together with the bottom member 2. Since the plate member 16 itself is fixed with the screws 17 in this way, a deformable member is unnecessary. In this example, the upright portion 5 and the hanging portion 7 are simply inserted and fixed by the frictional force. If the insertion side is made a little larger, it will be fixed relatively firmly.
