【発明の詳細な説明】 【0001】 【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、鋼帯を蛇行することな
くペイオフリールから連続処理ラインに送り出す巻出し
装置に関する。 【0002】 【従来の技術】圧延,酸洗,熱処理,めっき等の連続処
理ラインに送り込まれる鋼帯は、ペイオフリールから払
い出された後、先行鋼帯のテールに後続鋼帯のトップが
溶接される。後続鋼帯のトップを溶接機まで送る際に、
蛇行や突っ掛かり等によって通板に支障をきたし、溶接
機に達した後続鋼帯のトップが正規の位置からずれるこ
とがある。位置ズレは,先行鋼帯のテールと後続鋼帯の
トップとの位置合せを困難にし、溶接に先立つ位置修正
を余儀なくしている。 【0003】位置ズレを抑制するため、フィードレベラ
ーで鋼帯の形状を矯正しながら通板する方法,通板テー
ブルに設けたサイドガイドで鋼帯の蛇行を規制する方法
等が採用されている。サイドガイドで鋼帯の蛇行を規制
する方法では、ペイオフリール1から払い出された鋼帯
Sの幅方向両側にサイドガイドロール2,2を配置し、
鋼帯Sをセンタリングしている(図1)。サイドガイド
ロール2,2は、通常、ペイオフリール1の下流側に位
置する溶接機の近傍に設けられている。 【0004】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】ペイオフリール1から
払い出される鋼帯Sが不規則に走行する原因の一つに、
ペイオフリール1に捲取られた鋼帯Sの巻きズレがあ
る。巻きズレを起こしているコイルをペイオフリール1
から払い出してフィードレベラーに送り込むと、鋼帯の
トップが斜めに通板され、そのまま板逃げとなる。他
方、サイドガイドロール2,2で無理やり鋼帯Sをセン
タリングしても、コイルの巻きズレを修正できないため
に巻きズレ個所で蛇行が発生する。すなわち、サイドガ
イドロール2,2では、巻きズレ起因の蛇行を規制でき
ない。 【0005】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、このような問
題を解消すべく案出されたものであり、ペイオフリール
から鋼帯が送り出される位置で巻きズレの影響を抑制す
ることにより、鋼帯の走行状態を安定化し、連続処理ラ
インに送り出すことを目的とする。本発明の巻出し装置
は、その目的を達成するため、揺動可能なビームの先端
に設けた回転可能な押えロールと、ビームの長手方向に
直交する方向に沿って移動可能に設けられ、コイルの幅
方向両端に接触するサイドガイドと、サイドガイドを鋼
帯の幅方向に開閉動作させるエアシリンダを備え、コイ
ル外周部に加えた押えロールの押圧力を低下した後でエ
アシリンダが駆動されることを特徴とする。 【0006】 【実施の形態】本発明に従った巻出し装置10は、台座
11から立ち上がるビーム12を備えている(図2)。
台座11に搭載された動力部13で油圧シリンダ14を
伸縮させると、ビーム12は枢着点15を中心として動
作位置(実線)と待機位置(点線)との間を揺動する。
ビーム12の先端には、ブラケット16を介し押えロー
ル17が回転可能に設けられている。押えロール17よ
りも台座11側の位置で、サイド調整機構20がビーム
12に取り付けられている。サイド調整機構20は、巻
出し装置10をA方向(図2)からみた一部断面を示す
図3にみられるように、2本のガイドレール21,21
に沿って移動可能な一対のサイドガイド22R,22L
を備えて、ガイドレール21,21の内側にエアシリン
ダ23U,23Dが組み込まれている。 【0007】一方のエアシリンダ23Uは、シリンダカ
バー26Uが装着されたシリンダロッド24Uの先端に
コマ25Lを当接させている。コマ25Lはほぼ立方体
形状をもち、切り欠かれた部分に他方のエアシリンダ2
3Dの基部が接触する。エアシリンダ23Dのシリンダ
ロッド24Dにもシリンダカバー26Uが装着され、コ
マ25Rがシリンダロッド24Uの先端近傍に位置して
いる。コマ25Rの切欠き部近傍にエアシリンダ23U
の基部が位置する。個々のコマ25L,25Rからそれ
ぞれ2本のロッド27UL,27DL及び27UR,2
7DRが図3で左右方向に突出している。ロッド27U
L,27DLにシリンダカバー28UL,28DLが装
着され、先端にサイドガイド22Lが固着されている。
ロッド27UR,27DRにもシリンダカバー28U
R,28DRが装着され、先端にサイドガイド22Rが
固着されている。 【0008】以下、本発明巻出し装置を用いたコイルの
払い出しを説明する。前工程から搬送されたコイルをペ
イオフリール1に装着し、コイル上方に巻出し装置10
を位置させる。次いで、ビーム12を図2で反時計方向
に旋回させ、コイルを圧下するまで押えロール17を下
降させる。押えロール17でコイルの外周部を圧下して
鋼帯Sのトップ位置を調整した後、押えロール17の押

イミングは、動力部13に内蔵させたシーケンシャル制
御機構によって制御される。サイドガイド22R,22
Lの開閉動作によりコイルの巻きズレが矯正されるが、
コイル外周部にある鋼帯Sの先端が他の機器に接触する
ことなく自由端になっているので、巻きズレ矯正に要す
る力は極僅かで済む。また、左右のコマ25L,25R
がエアシリンダ23U,23Dの基部に当接することに
よりサイドガイド22R,22Lの閉動作が規制される
ため、コイル外周部の鋼帯Sがセンタリングされる。 【0010】次いで、センタリングされたコイル外周部
の鋼帯Sは、ペイオフリール1の回転によって引き出さ
れ、送りロール(図示せず)によってフィードレベラー
(図示せず)に送り込まれる。鋼帯Sの先端がフィード

を駆動してサイドガイド22R,22Lを開放する。コ
イルの巻きズレを矯正しながらペイオフリール1から鋼

逃げ等がなく、安定条件下で先行鋼帯のテールに溶接さ
れ、連続処理ラインにおける操業が定常化する。 【0011】 【発明の効果】以上に説明したように、本発明の巻出し
装置は、鋼帯の上方変位を押えロールで規制し、幅方向
をサイドガイドで規制しながらペイオフリールから鋼帯
を払い出しているため、ペイオフリールから送り出され
た鋼帯の走行状態が安定化し、蛇行が抑制される。その
ため、蛇行や板逃げ等のトラブルなく連続処理ラインに
送り込むことができ、先行鋼帯のテールとの溶接も容易
になる。
