In the figure, a catalyst deodorizing device 14 and an adsorbing deodorizing device 21 are provided in series in a discharge path 13 from the garbage storage 2 to the discharging means 10, and the catalyst deodorizing device 14 is put into a non-operating state after completion detection. It is controlled to become. This is because the moisture contained in the odor generated from the raw garbage 3 after the drying is extremely smaller than the moisture generated during the drying, and therefore, the deodorization can be performed only by the adsorption deodorization device 21 without operating the catalyst deodorization device 14. It is possible enough. Therefore, after the catalyst deodorizing device 14 is operated and the drying is completed, energy for heating the catalyst is not required, and energy saving can be realized.

In the drawing, the adsorption deodorizing device 21 is connected to the catalyst deodorizing device 14 in the discharge path 13 in a switchable manner in parallel.
The control means is arranged to switch the exhaust gas to the adsorption / deodorization device 21 after detecting the completion of drying of the garbage. Specifically, the discharge path 13 from the garbage storage unit 2 to the discharge means 10 is branched by the switching valve 22, the catalyst deodorizing device 14 is provided in one path, and the adsorption deodorizing device 21 is provided in the other path, and during drying. The switching valve 22 is switched to the catalyst deodorizing device 14 side, and the switching valve 22 is switched to the adsorption deodorizing device 21 side after the completion of drying. This is because when the catalyst deodorizing device 14 and the adsorption deodorizing device 21 are arranged in series, the pressure loss of the entire discharge path 13 increases. Therefore, it is necessary to use the discharging means 10 having a high capacity, and this can be prevented.
