2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, various types of payment notifications such as social insurance agencies, banks, securities companies, post offices, electric power companies, etc., such as payment notifications, receipts, and notifications relating to personal information such as maturity notifications and direct mail have been conventionally used. However, in the case of a sealed letter, the mailing fee is higher than that of a postcard, and when a large number of sealed letters are mailed, the mailing cost must be enormous.

In order to solve such a problem, in recent years, the information recording surfaces of two recording materials on which transmission information such as characters and pictures are recorded are pseudo-bonded to each other through a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet to transfer the transmission information. Practical application of various proposals in which the amount of information can be increased to the level of a sealed letter and the recipient can peel off one of the recording materials to keep the information secret until the information recorded inside is read. Has been done.

Examples of these proposals include a postcard in which a heat-sensitive adhesive capable of recording information on the surface is formed on one side of a paper support. (Actual Kaihei 1-14
8371 publication). This envelope postcard is folded in half to have a postcard size, and the heat-sensitive adhesives are pressure-bonded under heating so as to have a peelable adhesive strength.
However, this postcard has a problem in that the recorded content is transferred to the other surface because information is recorded on the peeling surface which is the surface of the heat-sensitive adhesive layer. In addition, since it is difficult to adjust the adhesive strength of the heat-sensitive adhesive layer, peeling curl occurs, which makes it difficult to read information.

Further, a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet and an information recording body using the same, in which information can be pseudo-bonded to each other after recording information on two postcard-sized recording materials on which information is recorded Has also been proposed (JP-A-4-126).
298). However, in the case of an information recording body using this heat-sensitive adhesive sheet, a coating film (coating film + recording information or coating film + recording information) at the peeling trigger portion was printed when the information recording surface was peeled and developed. There is a problem that the surface layer of the information recording medium is torn and the torn coating film is transferred to the other transmitted information surface, making it difficult to read the information. Also, when heat-sensitive adhesive is sandwiched between the information recording surfaces of two postcard-sized recording materials for heat-sensitive adhesion, the heat-melted synthetic resin coating layer protrudes from the edge of the recording medium, and the support and synthetic resin coating layer are applied. Since the peeling interface with the work layer is covered with the resin, there is a problem that unsealing is likely to occur. Further, there is a problem that the heat-sensitive adhesiveness to the recording material printed with the UV heat resistant ink is poor.

The above-mentioned problems are caused by the fact that one side of the support is provided with a thermoplastic resin layer having a constant Vicat softening temperature on both sides of the support so that it can be easily peeled off but does not spontaneously peel off. A heat-sensitive adhesive sheet having a four-layer structure in which a heat-sensitive adhesive layer having a constant glass transition temperature or a Vicat softening temperature is formed, and a 180-degree peel strength at the interface between the support and the thermoplastic resin layer is specified. It was improved by a confidential postcard using a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 07-17166). However, in recent years, papers with different properties may be used for various invoices, statements, and confidential postcards such as direct mail. In such a case,
It was found that even if the above heat-sensitive adhesive sheet is used, the resin coating layer may slightly protrude at the time of heat-sensitive adhesion, and unsealing failure may occur by covering the peeling interface between the support and the thermoplastic resin. did.

While the release layer is in close contact with the heat-sensitive adhesive layer formed thereon, the release layer should be peeled off smoothly at the interface between the support and the release layer when the information recording medium is opened. The peeling-off part coating film is not torn, and the 180 ° peel strength at the interface between the support and the release layer is 23 ° C. and 50% RH, and the peeling speed is 500.
It is necessary to be 20 to 150 g / 50 mm in mm / min (peeling strength measurement is based on JIS Z-0237), and particularly preferably 20 to 100 g / 50 mm. Peel strength between support and release layer is 20g / 50m
If it is less than m, spontaneous peeling is likely to occur and the postcard may open during mailing. Also, peel strength is 150g / 50mm
If it exceeds, there is a problem that peeling curl occurs, and when a recording material having a weak surface strength is used, the surface of the recording material is peeled off at the time of opening and the readability of information is deteriorated.

Examples of the polymer resin used for the release layer include polyethylene resin, ethylene / methacrylic acid copolymer resin, ionomer resin, ethylene / ethyl acrylate copolymer resin, or a mixture thereof. . In the present invention, especially a mixture system of polyethylene resin and ionomer resin (mixing ratio = 95/5 to 30)
/ 70) is preferable because it is excellent in peeling stability. The thickness of the release layer formed is preferably 1 to 10 μm, and particularly preferably 1 to 7 μm. Further, an inorganic or organic pigment may be added to the release layer for the purpose of improving the running property during production of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention and preventing blocking of the winding sheet. The amount of the pigment added is within a range of 5% by weight or less without deteriorating the peelability from the support, the adhesion to the heat-sensitive adhesive layer, the coating film elongation and the readability (transparency) of the recorded information. It is preferable. Further, it is possible to add a fragrance, an antistatic agent, a leveling agent, a coloring agent and the like.

The heat-sensitive adhesive layer, which is a constituent element of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention, sufficiently adheres to the release layer, but at the same time, has a low temperature sealing property with the recording material on which information is recorded and preservation of winding of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet. Excellent in properties (no occurrence of blocking) and MFT of the resin forming the heat-sensitive adhesive layer is 60-
85 ° C (MFT is measured according to ASTM D 2354-65
It is preferably a forming layer formed by using a resin (according to T), and particularly preferably 60 to 75 ° C.
When a resin having an MFT of less than 60 ° C. is used, there is a problem that blocking of the roll-up sheet is likely to occur during production of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet. Further, when the information recording body is continuously manufactured by sandwiching the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet between two information recording surfaces, misalignment is caused due to poor insertion (sliding) of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet to the information recording surface. However, there is a problem in that the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet is likely to be integrated with the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet in a form protruding from the information recording surface. Further, when a resin having an MFT of more than 85 ° C. is used, the heat-sensitive adhesive property between the information recording surface and the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet is deteriorated, and it is difficult to obtain a normally integrated information recording body, and the information recording surface Due to poor adhesion between the heat-sensitive adhesive layer and the heat-sensitive adhesive layer, there is a problem that the interface between the support and the release layer, which should originally be peeled off when the information recording body is peeled and developed, is not peeled off and the information recording surface is destroyed. . According to many results of experiments conducted by us, the value of this MFT is determined by sandwiching the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet between the information recording surfaces and heat-pressing the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet to produce an integrated information recording body. It matches the temperature to be applied to the agent layer surface. In other words, the temperature applied to satisfy the heat-sensitive adhesiveness between the information recording surface and the heat-sensitive adhesive layer surface of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet is equal to the MFT value.

As the polymer resin used in the heat-sensitive adhesive layer, ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer resin, polyester resin, ethylene / acrylic acid copolymer resin, ethylene / ethyl acrylate copolymer resin, polyurethane resin, polyamide resin. It is desirable to use at least one resin selected from among vinyl acetate resins and the like. Particularly, it is preferable to use a single substance of ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer resin or a mixture of a plurality thereof. Further, by adding an inorganic or organic pigment to the heat-sensitive adhesive layer to form a matte, when the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention is sandwiched between the recording materials to produce a recording medium, the molten resin is Not only can it be prevented from protruding from the gap, but also blocking of the roll-up sheet at the time of producing the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention can be prevented. The amount of the pigment added is preferably 0.5 to 10% by weight, and particularly preferably 0.5 to 7% by weight, based on 100% by weight of the heat-sensitive adhesive layer.
When the pigment addition ratio is less than 0.5% by weight, blocking of winding of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet is likely to occur, and the resin melted during the production of the information recording body tends to stick out from between the recording materials, and the unsealing property is likely to be deteriorated. Not good for Further, if the addition amount exceeds 10% by weight, the heat-sensitive adhesion to the information recording surface may be poor, which is not preferable. Further, it is possible to add a fragrance, an antistatic agent, a leveling agent, a coloring agent and the like.

As described above, the information recording surfaces of the two postcard-sized recording materials can be integrated by heat-sensitively adhering them, or the recording materials printed on three sides simultaneously on a computer printing paper or the like can be S-folded or Z-shaped.
It is also possible to fold the mold and integrate the opposing information recording surfaces. Therefore, in the latter case, the postcard can be provided with four information recording surfaces, so that the postcard can have a larger amount of information. Of course, instead of using it as a postcard, it can also be used as an information recording body to be mailed in a sealed letter.
