Claims (16)

A lamp unit having a lamp and a reflector having one end opened in a curved shape that reflects light emitted from the lamp in a predetermined direction;
A light transmissive plate that protects the reflecting surfaces of the lamp and the reflector;
A housing for holding the lamp unit and the light transmissive plate,
The lamp unit has a housing mounting portion for use in fixing to the housing on the outer peripheral portion on the opening side of the reflector,
The housing has a lamp unit holding portion that receives the housing mounting portion and holds the lamp unit, and a plate material holding portion that receives and holds the light transmissive plate material,
A first air passage communicating with the outside of the housing between the open end of the reflector and the light-transmitting plate member, and communicating with the outside of the housing between the housing mounting portion and the rear wall of the housing. A second air channel ,
A lamp device in which the lamp unit and the light-transmitting plate material are arranged to face each other through the first air path.   The lamp device according to claim 1, wherein the housing attachment portion includes a rib that receives and supports and fixes an opening-side outer peripheral end portion of the reflector.   The lamp device according to claim 2, wherein the rib supports at least half of the outer periphery of the reflector on the opening side.   4. The lamp device according to claim 2, wherein a flat portion having a shape in which a part of the outer peripheral portion is cut off is provided on the outer peripheral portion on the opening side of the reflector, and the flat portion is opposed to the inner surface of the rib.   The lamp device according to claim 1, wherein each of the first air path and the second air path includes an intake / exhaust port formed on a side wall of the housing.   The lamp device according to claim 5, wherein an intake / exhaust port constituting the first air passage is smaller than an intake / exhaust port constituting the second air passage.   The lamp device according to claim 1, wherein the housing is made of metal.   The lamp device according to claim 7, wherein the inner surface of the housing is subjected to surface processing for increasing the heat absorption rate of the inner surface of the housing to be higher than the heat absorption rate of the metal itself.   The lamp device according to claim 7 or 8, wherein a surface treatment for increasing a thermal emissivity of an outer surface of the housing to a thermal emissivity of the metal itself is applied to the outer surface of the housing.   The lamp device according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein an ignition voltage of the lamp is set to 10 KV or less.   A projector comprising the lamp device according to claim 1 as an illumination light source inside an exterior case.   The projector according to claim 11, wherein the projector includes a metal casing that holds an optical element constituting an optical system, and the lamp device is fixed to the metal casing by using the housing so as to be capable of conducting heat. .   The projector according to claim 11, wherein an air path is formed between the lamp device and the exterior case.   The projector according to claim 13, wherein a heat buffer material having a lower heat emissivity than that of the housing of the lamp device is disposed on the lamp device side of the facing portion between the lamp device and the outer case.   The projector according to claim 13, wherein a heat buffer material having a higher heat reflectivity than the outer case is disposed on the outer case side of the facing portion between the lamp device and the outer case.   The projector according to claim 11, wherein air flowing across the emitted light is introduced into an optical path of the emitted light from the lamp device.
