Claims (5)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 内部に加熱源を有する熱伝達部材および
この熱伝達部材に当接かつ加圧するシート加圧部材を有
し、このシート加圧部材の一端部を前記熱伝達部材に対
して記録紙搬送方向上流側に設けた取付部に固定し、前
記シート加圧部材の他端部を前記熱伝達部材に加圧状態
で当接させ、トナー像が転写された記録紙を前記熱伝達
部材と前記シート加圧部材とのニップ部を通過させる際
に加圧/加熱することにより記録紙にトナー像を定着さ
せる定着装置であって、 転写部から定着部までの搬送ガイドの中央部に、記録紙
中央部を持ち上げて両端部より高くする手段を設けたこ
とを特徴とする定着装置。

して記録紙搬送方向上流側に設けた取付部に固定し、前
記シート加圧部材の他端部を前記熱伝達部材に加圧状態
で当接させ、トナー像が転写された記録紙を前記熱伝達
部材と前記シート加圧部材とのニップ部を通過させる際
に加圧/加熱することにより記録紙にトナー像を定着さ
せる定着装置であって、 前記ニップ部から記録紙を排紙する排紙手段までの搬送
経路において記録紙にかかる搬送負荷が、前記ニップ部
を通過した後の記録紙を搬送する搬送力より小さくなる
前記搬送経路の部位に搬送ローラを配置することを特徴
とする定着装置。
