Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0001] 1. Field of the Invention [0002] The present invention relates to a system for assisting a diet as a measure against diabetes in the medical field. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a dietary treatment as a countermeasure for diabetes, breakfast,
Create a table that defines the number of units for lunch and dinner. Based on this table, check the foods belonging to each category and the weight per unit in books such as a food exchange table, calculate the weight of the set unit, and calculate the weight of the meal. You have to make a menu. Also, if any one item in the table defining the number of units becomes larger than the scheduled unit, the calculation must be recalculated in order to reduce the units of other items in the related classification. [0003] In the diet therapy for diabetes measures, the number and the number of meals per day are determined in units. For this reason, calculations must be made from books such as tables and food exchange tables. An object of the present invention is to eliminate the trouble of examining books such as a table and a food exchange table, and to eliminate the need for calculation. [0004] In the present invention, the table, the classification of food, the number of units, and the like are digitized and stored in a memory as a database. First, when a daily calorie intake is input, a standard number of units is automatically set for each classification of cereals, meat and seafood for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Display the optimal amount by entering or searching for the name of the food. In addition, we save contents of decided meal for one week,
The status is displayed on a monthly basis. In this case, if there is too much or too little, a warning is displayed. This system is built into hardware such as a pocket-sized computer. Also, when used on a personal computer, larger data processing becomes possible. [0005] First, you will be asked for your name, age, gender and password. From the second time on, only the password is sufficient. In the case of the first time, the daily calorie intake is input. If the calorie intake is blank, standard values are set by this system. 1 from daily calorie intake
A standard number of units is automatically set for each class such as cereals, meat and seafood for daily intake, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner settings can be changed, but the total number of units for each breakfast, lunch, and dinner category is not changed.Lunch and / or dinner for that category is automatically changed when breakfast is changed. Be changed. When thinking about menu of meal,
If you enter the food name or select it from the list for each category, the optimal amount and the approximate size will be displayed. If the actual intake is different, enter that amount and "confirm" to move to the category that requires the next intake. When the input or selection of necessary items is completed and “End” is selected, depending on the size of the unit for each classification, a comment that calls attention is displayed and the user is asked to change. If you want to change it, select "Change", change the displayed item and "End". If you do not want to change, select "End" again. The data is stored, and if the number of units for each category is outside the allowable range of the set value, the number of units for subsequent meals is automatically changed. The system has an internal clock, displays the most recent meal setting after the time it was started, and waits for the setting. As described above, according to the present invention, a series of work which has been performed with a table and a book can be easily performed by using a pocket-sized calculator, so that the menu can be prepared while viewing the food in the kitchen. You do not need to remember and calculate the previous meal. The pocket size makes it easy to carry around and can be used when eating out, making management more accurate. Also, since data is stored for a long time,
You can see the contents and balance of meals in units such as months. If you see this at the time of a medical examination, the doctor will be able to make more accurate decisions and give you appropriate advice. This system can be applied to non-diabetics who need diet therapy.
