Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that: the number of parts and a variety of material are large; size reduction is difficult; assembly and disassembly are troublesome; it is impossible to temporary fix a cable 70 to enhance connection efficiency; and costs for manufacturing parts, assembly, and connection are high. SOLUTION: A terminal block comprises: terminal stands 11 erected on a printed circuit board; terminal screws 13 screwed into female screw parts of the terminal stands 11; slides 12 with washer to which the terminal screws 13 are mounted; and support means 14 supporting the slides 12 with washer. Each support means 14 further comprises: two guide members 14c, 14d guiding the slides 12 with washer in an insertion direction; and a holding member 14g disposed between the guide members 14c, 14d to hold the slide 12 with washer between the guide members 14c, 14d. When the slide 12 with washer is pressed between the guide members 14c, 14d and the holding member 14g, the holding member 14g is opened rearward by elasticity so that the support means 14 temporarily supports the slide 12 with washer at a predetermined height to hold the terminal screw 13 to be capable of being screwed into the female screw.

In the above-described terminal block 60, since the housing 65 is provided, the occupied area tends to be large, and it is difficult to reduce the size. In addition, the number of parts such as the housing 65 and the coil spring 64 and the types of materials forming them are large, and the manufacturing cost is high and the manufacturing is easy. In addition, it is difficult to stably store the coil spring 64 and the washer-equipped slide 61 in the terminal stand 61 until they are inserted into the housing 65.
Assembly and disassembly is troublesome. In addition, the cable 70 is provided with an opening
It is necessary to rotate the terminal screw 63 by using a screwdriver or the like each time it is inserted into the cable 5b and connect / fix it. Therefore, it is possible to temporarily connect a plurality of cables 70 and simultaneously connect / fix them. It was difficult and the work efficiency was poor.

When connecting the ring terminal 71 of the cable 70 with the ring crimp terminal to the terminal block 10 thus constructed, first, the slide rear wall portion 12b with a washer is connected to the guide member 1.
It is pushed between 4c and 14d and the holding member 14g. When the tapered surface 14h is engaged with the engagement hole 12c, the washer-equipped slide 12 is temporarily supported, and a predetermined space having a height H is secured between the terminal screw 13 and the terminal stand upper portion 11a (FIG. 2). Ring terminal 7 of cable 70 in this space
1 is inserted, the center of the ring terminal 71 is aligned with the center of the hole 11d, and then the terminal screw 13 is pushed down using a cross screwdriver (not shown) or the like. Then, the holding member 14g bends backward, the washer-equipped slide 12 descends, and the tip of the terminal screw 13 is inserted into the ring terminal 71. Next, the terminal screw 13
Is rotated clockwise, the terminal screw 13 is attached to the female screw of the hole 11d.
As they are screwed together, the ring terminal 71 is sandwiched by the lower surface of the washer-side slide upper portion 12a and the upper surface of the terminal stand upper portion 11a to be mechanically connected and electrically connected to the circuit of the printed wiring board (Fig. 3).
