【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は電気掃除機のホー
ス内に詰った物を簡単に取り除くことができる、先端に
鈎を取り付けた柔軟な棒状の手動利器に関するものであ
る。

【従来の技術】従来、電気掃除機のホース内に詰った異
物を取り除くには、そのまま強引に吸い続けて掃除機本
体の中に吸い込んでしまう方法等があるが、これでは吸
い込んだ物がホコリだらけになってしまい気分が悪い。
また、棒状のもので押し出すか引き出そうとしても、な
かなかうまくいかない。特にスイッチ部の湾曲した付近
やホース中央部に詰った物を取り除くことは困難であ
り、忙しい掃除中においては極めて煩わしいことであっ
た。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従って、各メーカーと
も、この異物が詰ることの防止策として電気掃除機のホ
ースの形状や制御装置の開発を実施してきたわけであ
る。しかしながら、実際に異物が詰まる事例は多発して
いる。また、不本意に発生するこの事件を解決すべき専
用の道具が今もって実在しないのもまた事実である。本
発明は、こうした使用者の長年の強い要望に応えるため
に発明されたのである。

【課題を解決するための手段】（イ）柔軟な棒（１）の
先端に鈎（２）としてネジ式フックを取り付ける。
（ロ）棒（１）の握り部分に鈎（２）の先端の方向を示
す印（３）を付ける。
（ハ）ホース内に詰った異物に近いと思われるホース口
側（４または５）からこの棒を挿入し、異物を取り出
す。

【発明の実施の形態】電気掃除機のホース内に詰った異
物を取り除くには、図面の図３に示した電気掃除機のタ
イプ（象の鼻のようなホースタイプ）のスイッチ部
（６）を含むホース（４から５の間）の一般的な長さの
半分に拳１つ分を加算した長さが必要であった。材質に
ついては、掃除機のスイッチ部の湾曲した付近（６）に
詰った異物を取り除くことも想定して、柔軟な合成樹脂
製の棒（１）を選定した。さらに異物に引っ掛ける鈎の
部分（２）は、詰った異物を引き出す際にホース内や異
物を損傷させることの無いように、先が鋭利でなくても
十分に引っ掛ける能力を備えた形状のネジ式フック
（２）を選定し取り付けた。このような鈎であれば使用
者への傷害の危害も無いと思われる。こうして作製した
ホース内異物除去器を異物が詰っていると思われる位置
から取り出し易いホースの口側（４または５）から挿入
し、先に取り付けられた鈎（２）で異物に引っ掛ける
か、押すか、あるいは反転させる等して取り出す作業を
行う。ただし、使用に際してはホース内の鈎（２）の向
きが大切なので、鈎の先端の方向を示している印（３）
に注意して実施する必要がある。

【発明の効果】この電気掃除機のホース内の異物除去器
により、ホース内部や異物に損傷させることもなく、誰
でも容易に異物を取り除くことが可能になった。これに
より、掃除中に不意に発生する苛々も即座に解消され、
