These vertical and horizontal turning mechanisms are for adjusting the illuminating body in the necessary irradiation direction, but in an illuminating device used outdoors, the turning function is waterproof. This is a part where the structure becomes important and may cause a cost increase. In particular, when a pair of illuminating bodies are rotatably provided on the main body device to form a two-lamp type illuminating device, an increase in these rotating parts causes a cost increase.

Further, a regulating pin is erected at a position apart from the axial center of each supporting member in the upper portion of the apparatus main body, and a guide groove through which the regulating pin engages is formed in the lower supporting member along the rotating direction. Then, the upper support member is provided with an engaging portion to be locked to the regulating pin, and the regulating pin locks the edge portion of the guide groove or the engaging portion to the outer right and left sides of each supporting rod. When the horizontal rotation of the support rods is restricted within a predetermined angle range, the angle ranges of both support rods can be efficiently restricted by the restriction pins that lock the respective support members that are coaxially connected to each other.

Further, it is preferable that a sensor device having a detection sensor is attached to the lower part of the main body of the device so as to be horizontally rotatable. Specifically, a support base and a detection window for attaching the sensor device to the lower part of the main body of the device are provided. A spherical sensor part provided with a concave part having a partially spherical shape corresponding to the upper surface of the sensor part at the lower end part of the support base, and the sensor part in the groove formed along the front-back direction of the concave part. The sensor part is supported so as to be vertically rotatable by slidably engaging a locking piece provided on the upper surface of the, and the support base is pivotally supported at the lower part of the main body of the device so as to be horizontally rotatable. It is more preferable that the detection direction of the sensor through the detection window can be adjusted vertically or horizontally by vertically rotating or vertically rotating the support base.
