Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an automatic sensitivity switching device for a detection device. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a detection camera used in a detection device integrates a video signal in order to maintain a constant brightness, and controls an electronic shutter and an iris so that the value becomes constant, and darkens the image signal. When the electronic shutter or iris cannot be brightened, the AGC is activated so that the integrated value becomes constant. [0003] In the conventional method of keeping the brightness constant, when the AGC operates to the maximum, the integral value cannot be kept constant any more, and the integral value decreases. For this reason, when motion is detected based on luminance, there is a drawback that when dark, the dynamic range of a video signal is narrowed, making it difficult to detect. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, and
The motion detection side also integrates the video signal, and
It is an object of the present invention to provide an automatic sensitivity switching device for a detection device that can automatically switch between daytime and nighttime detection sensitivities, reliably detect not only during the daytime, but also during the nighttime and reliably prevent erroneous detection. The purpose is. The foregoing and other objects and novel features of the invention will become more fully apparent when the following description is read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. However, the drawings are merely for explanation and do not limit the technical scope of the present invention. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an integrator for automatically integrating a video signal from a detection camera or a signal from a motion sensor, and an integrator for automatically integrating the video signal from the motion sensor. If the integration value of the reference value continues to be equal to or greater than the reference value, the daytime setting comparator that determines daytime and outputs a daytime sensitivity setting signal to the detection unit, and the integration value from the integrator is If the state below the reference value continues, it is determined to be nighttime, and a nighttime setting comparator that outputs a nighttime sensitivity setting signal to the detection unit constitutes an automatic sensitivity switching device for the detection device. Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. In the first embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, reference numeral 1 denotes a detecting device using the present invention. The detecting device 1 can photograph a subject and output it as a video signal. A detection camera 2 and an automatic sensitivity switching device 3 which automatically determines whether a video signal from the detection camera 2 is daytime or nighttime and outputs a daytime sensitivity setting signal or a nighttime impression setting signal. And an alarm circuit 5 having an image processing detection unit 4 for issuing an alarm when the brightness or saturation of the video signal of the sensitivity set by the automatic sensitivity switching device 3 has changed or not changed for a certain period of time or more. ing. As shown in FIG. 2, the automatic sensitivity switching device 3 integrates an image signal from the detection camera 2 automatically, and an integrated value from the integrator 6 is equal to or larger than a reference value. If the state continues, the daytime setting comparator 7 that determines daytime and outputs a daytime sensitivity setting signal to the image processing detection unit 4 and the integrated value from the integrator 6 is a reference value. In the case where the following state continues, it is constituted by a night setting comparator 8 which judges that it is night and outputs a night sensitivity setting signal to the image processing detection unit 4. As shown in FIG. 3, the alarm circuit 5 receives the video signal from the detection camera 2 and the signal from the automatic sensitivity switching device 3 as shown in FIG.
For example, an image processing detection unit 4 in which 90 × 64 luminous bodies 9 are arranged in a lattice, and a detection area X of the image processing detection unit 4
In addition, the size Y of the detection target can be arbitrarily set, and the brightness and the saturation of the video signal of the set portion change for a certain period of time, for example, from 0.03 seconds to 5.5 minutes,
The input unit 10, which outputs an alarm signal when not performed, RO
A central processing circuit 14 including an M11, a RAM 12, and a monitor 13; an alarm 15 that emits a red light or a buzzer according to an alarm signal output from the central processing circuit 14; or an automatic dialer automatic telephone transmitting device 16 that performs telephone communication based on the alarm signal. It is composed of The detection apparatus 1 having the above-described configuration determines which part of the image captured by the detection camera 2 is to be the detection area X, what is the size Y of the detection target, and whether the movement or the movement is stopped. The time for detecting the state of the occurrence is set by the input unit 10 of the central processing circuit 14. In this state, the luminance or the saturation of the image captured by the detection camera 2 in the region larger than the size Y of the detection target set in the set detection area X in the set detection area X is changed or changed for the set time or more. If not, an alarm signal is output to the alarm 15 or the automatic dialer automatic telephone transmitting device 16. When the detection state changes from daytime to nighttime or nighttime to daytime, the set sensitivity is automatically switched by the automatic sensitivity switching device 3, and the change in luminance and saturation is surely performed both in daytime and nighttime. Can be detected. Next, different embodiments of the present invention shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 will be described. In the description of the different embodiments of the present invention, the same components as those in the first embodiment of the present invention are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description will be omitted. The second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 is different from the first embodiment of the present invention mainly in that a signal from a motion sensor 2A is automatically switched by an automatic sensitivity switching device 3. Is used in the detection device 1A connected to the alarm circuit 5A having the signal processing detection unit 4A via
The same operation and effect can be obtained by using the automatic sensitivity switching device 3 for such a detection device 1A. As is apparent from the above description, the following effects can be obtained in the present invention. (1) An integrator for automatically integrating a video signal from a detection camera or a signal from a motion sensor, and if the integrated value from the integrator continues to be equal to or greater than a reference value, A daytime setting comparator that outputs a daytime sensitivity setting signal to the detection unit when it is determined to be medium, and when the integrated value from the integrator continues to be equal to or less than the reference value, it is determined that it is nighttime and nighttime. And a comparator for night setting that outputs the sensitivity setting signal to the detection unit, so the motion detection side also integrates the video signal and automatically sets the day and night detection sensitivity based on the integrated value. Can be switched. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the dynamic range of the video signal from being narrowed not only during the daytime but also at night, and it is possible to reliably detect and prevent erroneous detection. (2) According to the above (1), the detection sensitivity can be automatically set to the daytime and nighttime detections, so that it takes no trouble and
It can be detected accurately. (3) According to the above (1), since the structure is simple, it can be easily implemented.
