Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyecup device which is constituted of first and second cylindrical members that are freely slidably engaged each other, whose assembly can easily be performed and whose assembly is prevented from easily coming out after the assembly of the first and second cylindrical members is once completed. SOLUTION: A movable piece 26 which can elastically be deformed is integrally formed in the peripheral wall of the first cylindrical member 20 by removing a part of the material of the wall. A projecting part 28 is formed outside the movable piece. A guide groove 28' extending from the rear end edge of the second cylindrical member to the front end edge along the center axis of the inner wall face of the second cylindrical member 22 is formed on the inner wall face of the second cylindrical member 22. The guide groove freely slidably receives the projecting part. When the projecting part abuts on the trailing end of the guide groove, the movable piece receives force with which it is elastically deformed to the outside of the radius direction of the first cylindrical member.

Such an eye contact device is used as needed. That is, when the eye contact device is used, the second tubular member is pulled out from the first tubular member and set to the projecting position. At this time, when the eyepiece is seen through the second tubular member, the eye point is changed. The eyepiece lens is placed at a predetermined eye distance. On the other hand, when the eye contact device is not used, the second tubular member is placed in the storage position pushed into the first tubular member, and at this time, the eye distance is arbitrarily set by the observer. The eyepiece device is not normally used when looking through the eyepiece while wearing glasses, and in this case, the second tubular member is placed in the storage position.

As described above, in the eye contact device, the second tubular member is movable with respect to the first tubular member between the storage position and the projecting position. When pulling out the second tubular member from the first tubular member, a stop mechanism is incorporated in both of the tubular members so as to hold the second tubular member in its protruding position. For example, a contact portion adapted to contact each other is formed on both the tubular members, and the second tubular member is the first.
When the second tubular member is pulled out from the tubular member to the projecting position, the two contact portions are engaged with each other, and thus the second tubular member is pulled out of the first tubular member beyond the projecting position. Is prevented.

By the way, in the manufacture of the eye contact device as described above, the first and second tubular members are formed as independent parts, and then fitted to each other slidably. Is assembled. At the time of such assembling, since both abutting portions of the stop mechanism are in the position of interfering with each other, it is necessary to devise, for example, the assembling of the first and second tubular members. It is desirable to prevent the assembly from easily coming off after the assembly of the first and second tubular members is once completed. For example,
Due to the engagement of both abutting portions of the stop mechanism, when the second tubular member is placed in the projecting position with respect to the first tubular member, a large force is inadvertently applied to the second tubular member. It is necessary to avoid a situation in which the second tubular member is disengaged from the first tubular member due to the disengagement of both abutting portions when the pressure is applied. Generally, when the stop mechanism is designed so that the first and second tubular members can be easily assembled, both engaging portions of the stop mechanism tend to be easily disengaged.

4 ridge projections (30, 32) and 4
It is preferable to arrange the respective groove portions (30 ', 32') of the book at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the first and second tubular members 20 and 22, but in the above-mentioned embodiment. The four convex stripe projections (30, 32) and the four concave stripe grooves (30 ', 32') are not arranged at equal intervals. This is because when the first and second tubular members 20 and 22 are integrally molded from a resin material and the molding die has a split structure, four ridge protrusions (30, 32) and This is because it is difficult to arrange the four concave groove portions (30 ′, 32 ′) at equal intervals. By forming the molding die into, for example, a four-split structure, the four protrusions (30, 3
2) and each of the four recessed groove portions (30 ', 32') can be arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the first and second tubular members 20 and 22. On the other hand, the convex protrusions (30, 32) and the concave groove portions (30 ', 3)
Each of 2 ') may be provided in an odd number, and in this case as well, the convex projections (30, 32) and the concave groove (3
0 ', 32') are preferably arranged at equal intervals.
