(i)密度が0.90g/cm3以上であること、(ii)α−オレフィン含有量が8〜25モル%であること、(iii)MFRが5〜200g/10分であること。密度が0.90g/cm3未満であったり、α−オレフィン含有量が25%を超えたりすると、ポリマー自体の膠着性が大きく、シート化した後の取り扱いが困難となる場合がある。一方、α−オレフィンの含有率が8モル%未満であると、融点が高くなり、熱融着性が低下するため、他素材との複合が困難となる場合がある。シート状物とした際の取り扱い性や接着性などの点から、α−オレフィン含有率は、9〜20モル%がより好ましい。また、熱接着の観点から考慮すると該重合体の融点は50〜150℃が好ましく、さらに好ましくは、80〜140℃である。なお融点は、示差走査熱量計(DSC)を用いて測定し、吸熱ピークのトップピークを読み取ることで求めることができる。
