PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-application IC card system that can perform appli cation management which is flexibly adaptive to version up and maintenance of an application, and integration of services between application suppliers, etc., by adding a function to change identification information to the card. ョンアップその他アプリケーションのメンテナンス等に
対応できるようにしたものである。 【0002】 【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】近年、
ICカードの普及が盛んであり、1つのICカードに複
数のアプリケーションを搭載するものが色々提案され、
アプリケーションのバージョンアップ、メンテナンス、
アプリケーション供給者間でのサービスの統合等に伴
い、アプリケーションの削除や更新を行うことが必要と
なってこれに関する提案も行われている(特開2000
−172808号公報)。 【0003】ところで、ICカードにおいては各アプリ
ケーションに対してそれにユニークな識別番号(AI
D)を対応させ、AIDによりアプリケーションを特定
することが行われている。しかし現在のICカードで
は、AIDを変更することができないため、特定のAI
Dで外部システムが機能するようになっている場合、新
たなアプリケーションをインストールして既存の外部シ
ステムで利用しようとすると、外部システム側のAID
を全て変えなければならない。一方、外部システム側の
AIDを変更せず、ICカード側のAIDを変更しよう
とすると、一旦既存のアプリケーションを削除してから
でなければならなかった。しかし、実行速度の遅いIC
カードにとってアプリケーションを削除した後、AID
を変更するという作業は手間と時間のかかる作業であっ
た。 【0004】本発明は上記課題を解決するためのもの
で、アプリケーションの識別番号を変更する機能を付加
し、アプリケーションのバージョンアップ、メンテナン
ス、アプリケーション供給者間でのサービスの統合等に
柔軟に対応できるアプリケーション管理を行えるように
することを目的する。 【0005】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は複数のアプリケ
ーションが搭載可能で、かつアプリケーションを削除可
能なICカードプラットフォームを備えたICカードシ
ステムにおいて、プラットフォームで識別情報(AI
D)管理テーブルを用いてAID間の衝突が起きないよ
うに管理し、新たにアプリケーションをインストールし
た後、既存のアプリケーションのAIDをそのまま使用
したいような場合に、AID変更機能、例えば変更コマ
ンドやアプリケーションプログラム等の変更手段によ
り、既存のAIDを新しくインストールしたプログラム
のAIDに変更し、既存のプログラムについては別のA
IDに変更して各AIDがICカード内で一意となるよ
うに管理する。このようなシステムにより、より柔軟な
アプリケーション管理を行うことが可能で、異なるアプ
リケーション供給者間でのサービス統合、アプリケーシ
ョンのバージョンアップ、アプリケーションのメンテナ
ンス等に柔軟に対応することが可能となった。 【0006】 【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面
を参照しつつ説明する。図1は本発明のICカードシス
テムを説明する概念図、図2は識別情報管理テーブルを
説明する図である。図1(a)において、ICカード内
でアプリケーションの命令を1ステップづつ解釈するイ
ンタプリタを含むプラットフォーム1上に、アプリケー
ションAが搭載され、その識別情報(AID)が000
1であることを示している。このアプリケーションAは
外部のシステムA、システムBが使用しているものとす
る。 【0007】ここで、新たにアプリケーションBをイン
ストールし、外部システムA、外部システムBがアプリ
ケーションBを使用する場合を想定する。外部システム
側ではAID=0001を使用しているため、外部シス
テム側に変更を加えずに、アプリケーションBを利用す
るために、アプリケーションBのAIDを0001とし
なければならない。本発明においては、プラットフォー
ムにおいて、図2(a)に示すようなアプリケーション
名とAIDとの対応を示すAID管理テーブルを用意
し、このAID管理テーブルを用いてAID間の衝突が
起きないように管理し、このテーブルに基づいて、図2
(b)に示すように、アプリケーションAのAIDを0
