As a protective cover for this type of AC metal terminal, there is a conventional cover as described in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-94152, which is a plug body as shown in FIG. Protective portions 3a, 3b, 3c covering a plurality of AC metal terminals 2a, 2b, 2c protruding from
And a connecting portion 4 for connecting the protective portions 3a, 3b, 3c to each other, which are integrally formed of an elastic material such as polyethylene. One of the protective portions 3a, 3b, 3c is a protective portion 3a. A ridge (not shown) is formed on the inner wall surface of the AC metal terminal 2a so as to press the upper and lower side surfaces of the AC metal terminal 2a by elastic force, and when the protective portion 3a is covered with the AC metal terminal 2a, It is made difficult for the protective portion 3a to fall off from the AC metal terminal 2a of the plug body 1 by the frictional force generated between the ridge and the upper and lower side surfaces of the AC metal terminal 2a.
The entire protective cover is designed to be prevented from falling off, and the AC metal terminals 2a, 2b, 2 of the plug body 1 are also prevented.
When removing the protective cover from c, the protective parts 3a, 3
By pressing the left and right side portions of the protection portion 3a from a state in which the AC metal terminals 2a, 2b and 2c are covered with b and 3c,
The protective portion 3a is pulled out while separating the protrusions from the upper and lower side surfaces of the AC metal terminal 2a, and at the same time, the other protective portions 3b, 3
c is also pulled out from the AC metal terminals 2b and 2c.

Further, in the case of the charging device described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-284135, the AC metal terminal 2 is housed in the AC adapter body 6 in a rotating manner, and the recess 11 formed in the AC adapter body 6 is accommodated. Although the connection plug 10 is housed inside, the one side of the AC metal terminal 2 is exposed to the outside, and the protection function is incomplete, so that dust or the like may adhere to the AC metal terminal 2. On the other hand, the recess 11 for accommodating the connection plug 10 is formed in the AC adapter main body 6, so that the AC adapter main body 6 becomes large, and the processing when the adapter cord 7 is carried or stored is as described above. As described in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 5-94152, no consideration is given at all, and there is room for improvement in usability when carrying or storing.

As a result, as in the case of the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the AC metal terminal 2 and the connection plug 10 of the AC adapter body 6 are covered with the protective cover 12 and are not exposed, so that the AC adapter terminal 6 can be carried or stored. AC metal terminal 2 on the human body, clothes, etc.
Alternatively, the bag does not come into contact with the bag or the like, there is no fear of scratching the bag, and dust or the like does not adhere to the AC metal terminal 2 and the connection plug 10, while the recess 11 for accommodating the connection plug 10 (FIG. 11 and FIG. (See FIG. 12) does not need to be formed in the AC adapter body 6, and the AC adapter body 6 is prevented from becoming large, and the connection plug 10 and the adapter cord 7 are integrated with the AC adapter body 6. Since the adapter cord 7 has a shape, portability and storability are improved, and the adapter cord 7 is wound around the outer periphery of the protective cover 12, the winding radius of the adapter cord 7 can be increased. It is also possible to reduce the occurrence rate of.

Thus, even in the case of the examples shown in FIGS.
As in the case of the example shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the AC adapter body 6
The protection function of the AC metal terminal 2 and the connection plug 10 is enhanced to prevent damage to a human body, clothes, a bag, or the like.
It is possible to prevent dust and the like from adhering to the C metal terminal 2 and the connection plug 10, and at the same time, the AC adapter body 6
On the other hand, the connection plug 10 and the adapter cord 7 can be integrated, and portability and storability can be improved.

The charging device of the present invention is not limited to the above-described illustrated example, and a magic tape (registered trademark) or the like is attached to the outer periphery of the protective cover 12 around which the adapter cord 7 is wound. The bundling body may be wound in a direction orthogonal to the winding direction of the adapter cord 7 so as to fix the adapter cord 7 more reliably, and the adapter cord guide support portion 16 may be configured as shown in FIG.
It is also possible to arrange the adapter cord 7 in a direction perpendicular to the direction shown in FIG. 9 and wind the adapter cord 7 along it, or to form a winding concave portion of the adapter cord 7 on the surface of the protective cover 12, By winding the adapter cord 7 along the winding concave portion, the protrusion of the adapter cord 7 may be reduced to enhance the aesthetics and further improve portability and storability. The present invention may be configured such that a loss-preventing engagement piece is integrally formed at a location and the engagement piece is attached to the adapter cord 7 to prevent the protection cover 12 from being lost. Needless to say, various changes can be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
