【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、コンピュータを用
いて行う決済処理システムに係り、特にインターネット
を用いて複数の企業間で行う決済処理システムに関す
る。

【従来の技術】各企業は、ある一定期間毎に、その期間
内に取引のあった相手企業に対する支払(出金)処理を
行っていた。また、その相手企業からの入金処理も同時
に存在する場合、処理手続の煩雑化を防ぐため、両者合
意のもとに相互の金額を相殺することもあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来の決済処理は、基
本的に相手企業に対する支払いを、金融機関を介して振
込み手続きしているケースがほとんどであった。ただ、
振込み手続には手数料を徴収される場合が多く、もし相
手企業との間に支払処理と入金処理が同時に存在する場
合、相互の金額を相殺して手続を効率化することも行わ
れていた。しかしながら、相手企業が多数になった場
合、相手企業同士の入金処理および出金処理について把
握することは事実上不可能であり、相手企業各々と個別
の相殺で妥協せざるを得なかった。本発明のインターネ
ットを利用した共同決済システムは、3つ以上の複数企
業間で行われる決済処理を最適化することを目的とす
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】上述した課題を鑑みて本
発明のインターネットを利用した企業間共同決済システ
ムは、3以上の複数企業が互いに取引関係を成立させて
いる場合に、ネットワークを介して各企業の所定期間に
おける支払処理情報および入金処理情報を全て回収し、
前記支払処理情報および入金処理情報を互いに相殺し
て、処理手続数が最も少なくかつ手続に要する手数料が
最も安くなる相殺決済処理を算出し、前記ネットワーク
を介して前記各企業に対して前記相殺決済処理を通知す
ることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の共同決済システム
の実施形態について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。
図1に示すように、A企業1(自社)と、B企業2、C
企業3,D企業4、E企業5、そしてF銀行6,G銀行
7がインターネット9を介してスター状のネットワーク
を構成している。さらにこのネットワークには、複数企
業間の決済管理を行う決済管理会社8も接続されてい
る。このA企業1は図2に示すように、B企業2および
D企業4に対してそれぞれ5億円,7億円の支払処理が
存在し、B企業2およびE企業5からそれぞれ 2億
円、10億円の入金処理が存在する。またC企業3とD
企業4に対しては直接の取引が存在しない。そしてA企
業1の主要取引金融機関はF銀行6である。さらに各企
業が他の企業に対して有する支払処理、入金処理の関係
と、各々の主要取引金融機関については図2に示したと
おりである。まず、各企業は各自の支払処理および入金
処理を決済管理会社8に対して送信する。これらを受信
した決済管理会社8では、受信した支払処理および入金
処理に基づき、決済日別の相殺決済情報を算出する。例
えば図2の支払処理、入金処理について相殺決済情報を
作成した場合、図3に示すように「E企業5がA企業1
に対して6億円を支払う」「B企業2はA企業1に対し
て1億円、C企業3に対して1億円、D企業4に対して
3億円をそれぞれ支払う」ことが最も手続を効率的に済
ませることができることがわかる(支払い側のB企業2
とE企業5がA企業1,C企業3,D企業4に対して支
払う形としてはこの他にも考えられるが、通常の取引関
係を考慮するとこの形が最も自然である)。このように
相殺決済情報を作成した決済管理会社8は、決済の対象
である各企業と各々の主要取引金融機関であるF銀行6
とG銀行7に対して、相殺決済情報を送出する。相殺決
済情報を受け取った各企業は、これに基づいて相手企業
の指定口座に振込み手続を行う。振込み手続終了後、こ
の手続を行ったF銀行6およびG銀行7は、口座振り込
み確認情報を決済管理会社8に通知する。最後に決済管
理会社8は、決済終了情報を各企業について同報通知を
行う。
