Further, as a glass plate with a frame material, in order to obtain a high-class appearance and a heavy weight appearance, a vehicle outer surface of a base portion (frame material base portion) of a synthetic resin frame material provided on a peripheral portion of the glass plate,
In some cases, a strip-shaped metal decoration material or the like is provided. In this type of glass plate with a frame material, the frame material is composed of a frame material base and a decorative material. In order to provide a decorative material on the vehicle outer side surface of the frame material base, a method is known in which a decorative material previously formed into a predetermined shape by pressing or the like is attached to the frame material base. A method is also known in which, when the frame material base is extruded from the die by an extrusion molding machine, the decoration material is also extruded from the die at the same time, and the decoration material is embedded in the frame material base.

In the present invention, examples of the window plate material include transparent or translucent glass plates and resin plates. A chromatic glass plate or a resin plate may be used as long as it has sufficient transparency. Examples of the glass plate include a single glass plate and laminated glass. Further, the glass plate may be one that has been strengthened or functionally coated with a heat ray reflective film or the like.
The resin material to be injected into the cavity is selected in consideration of good fluidity during injection molding and excellent appearance and weather resistance after molding. Examples thereof include olefin-based, urethane-based, epoxy-based, acrylic-based thermoplastic elastomers and the like. The material of the base material layer of the decorative material has good compatibility with the resin material injected into the cavity, and the material of the same material is preferable. The material of the decorative layer has good weather resistance and is suitable for the outdoor environment. A material that can withstand and has good scratch resistance is preferable. Examples thereof include acrylic type, polycarbonate type, polyester type, polyvinyl chloride type and the like. The material forming the base material layer is preferably a material having good compatibility with the material forming the decoration layer.

FIG. 3 shows how the decorative material sheet thus obtained is subjected to pressure molding. The compressed air molding machine 70 includes a housing 71, a core 72 arranged at the bottom of the housing 71, and a heating section 73 arranged near the housing 71.
And have. An injection part 74 for injecting compressed air into the housing 71 is provided on the upper side surface of the housing 71. In order to obtain the decoration material 22, first, a flat decoration material sheet 22 ′ is arranged above the core 72 and below the injection portion 74, as shown by the chain double-dashed line in the figure. Next, the heating section 73 heats the decorative material sheet 22 '. And
Compressed air is injected from the injection part 74 into the housing 71. Then, the decorative material sheet 22 ′ is pressed onto the core 72 by the compressed air, and the decorative material 22 having a shape following the shape of the core 72 is formed. By replacing the core 72 with one having another shape, it is possible to obtain the decorative material 22 having various shapes. Further, in the example shown in the drawing, three decorative materials, which are parallel to the direction vertical to the paper surface, are arranged side by side in the lateral direction of the paper surface. Cut the obtained one in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface,
Three independent elongated members for forming decorative materials can be obtained. The obtained elongated body is cut into a predetermined shape, and the decoration material 22 can be formed in a large amount by one-time pneumatic forming. From this point of view, it is useful to use the decorative material of the present invention formed by pressure molding, because the decorative material can be obtained easily and in large quantities.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, but can be appropriately modified and improved.
For example, in the peripheral portion of the same glass plate 90, as shown in FIG.
A frame member having the form shown in FIGS. 1B and 1C can also be provided. Also, vacuum forming can be used instead of pressure forming. In the case of vacuum forming, the decorative material sheet is softened by heating on the core, air between the sheet and the core is extracted by a vacuum pump, the softened sheet is adsorbed to the core, and the sheet is cooled and solidified in that state. Compared with vacuum forming to obtain the degree of vacuum required to adapt the decorative material sheet to the core shape, compressed air molding makes it easier to adapt the decorative material sheet to the core shape. It is preferable to mold the decorative material by molding.
