ャネルとして割り当てるため、制御情報を伝送すること
ができなかった。このため、ディジタル専用線を使用す
る通信端末間において、通信中に発生する状態変化やダ
イヤル情報を伝送することができず、サービス機能に支
障があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ヘッダ付加による冗長
データ伝送を行わず、かつ信号劣化のほとんどないAD
PCM音声データを制御情報と同時に伝送可能にする。

【課題を解決するための手段】3ビット符号化されたA
DPCM音声データ(図2)に、制御情報ビット列から
順次1ビット付加(図3)し、4ビットの音声ストリー
ムデータとして伝送する。次に、4ビット符号化された
ADPCM音声データを3回連続で生成し、音声ストリ
ームデータとして伝送する。このように周期的に、制御
情報を1ビット挿入して音声データストリームを構成す
