男性着用者の為の吸収体
この発明は、その独特の設計を介して所定の位置に種々の解剖学的な生殖器
を保持する、特に男性着用者に適用される、使い捨て吸収装置に関係している。
この装置は、特に寝たきりの人を含んでいる失禁者に対し適用される。
背景
通常の病気における失禁は、人口の約３〜５％が多少なりとも失禁にさらさ
れている。
種々の形式の使い捨て失禁製品が市場に存在しているが、しかしながら、こ
れらの製品の殆どは男性に対して良く適用されることが出来ない。男性の為に作
られた製品がまた入手可能であり；このような男性用製品は男性の非常に異なっ
た解剖学的構造に適用する為に多くの異なった種類で作成されていて；しかしこ
れらの製品から陰茎が滑り出すことは非常に通常のことであって、そして排尿後
に製品を所定の位置に保持することは困難であり；さらに、このような製品は大
量の小水に対処するようには設計されていない。
大きな吸収能力の必要性を伴い男性の為に特に作成された製品は、従って市
場に存在していない。
さらに、失禁者の大きな範疇の為の失禁用製品の必要性が継続しており、こ
のような人々の大部分は寝たきりになっている。
寝たきりの男性の為には、現在入手可能な製品は適していない。これらが男
性により着用された時には、これらの製品の為の漏れの頻度は非常に高く、この
理由は男性の解剖学的構造であって、陰茎が非常にしばしば吸収本体の縁に接近
している。特にある薬物治療の後の、むしろ通常のことである、一時的な勃起に

技術の状態
使い捨て吸収製品の幾つかの異なった設計が市場に存在しており、幼児用お
むつの殆どの形式は、通常は製品の全長さに渡り延出している長手方向に向けら
れた弾性脚カフス（ｃｕｆｆｓ）を有しており；これの典型的な例が米国特許第
４，５５５，２２４号またはスウェーデン公開特許出願第８４０６０７１−４号
中に記載されている。もう１つの形式が米国特許第４６６２８７７号中に記載さ
れていて、ここにおいては覆い収納体（ｃｏｖｅｒｓｔｏｃｋ）中における大き
な開口が記載されている。米国特許第４，４９０，１４８号は外側層が吸収本体

ている。
スウェーデン公開特許出願第４６９６２１号，第９００３４９０−１号，そ
して第８３０３６６３−２号は他の形式の失禁製品を記載している。
男性の為に作成されている殆どの失禁製品は袋として作成されていて、そこ
には陰茎が、いくつかの場合には陰茎及び陰嚢の両方が置かれる。国際特許出願
公開公報第ＷＯ ９６／０５７８７号，第ＷＯ ８９／０００３７号，第ＷＯ
９２／１５２６９号，第ＷＯ ９１／０７１５５号，そして第ＷＯ ８７／０７
１３６号の全ては、「懸垂体（ｓｕｓｐｅｎｓｏｒ）」として形成された男性用
の開放形式の失禁防護具を開示している。国際特許出願公開公報第ＷＯ ８９／
１１８３９号は、陰茎に適合し装置の上部において開口している防護装置を記載
している。上述した文献中に記載されている如き製品は、これらが製品の上部に
おいて開口されていて使用者の生殖器を完全には取り囲まないことを特徴として
いる。
国際特許出願公開公報第ＷＯ ８６／Ｏ６６２１号は、陰茎の周囲に適合す
る弾性化されている開口を有している柔軟な袋形式の製品を開示している。
発明の一般的な記載
この発明の男性着用者の為の吸収装置は、外側層と吸収体（ａｂｓｏｒｂｅ
ｎｔ ｂａｔｔ）とを含んでおり、ここにおいて着用者の体に接触する上記層の
部分には弾性化された開口が備えられていて；上記開口は全体として着用者の体
に接触する上記層の上記部分内に確保されるべきである。
開口の寸法は変化することが出来るが、開いた時には陰茎または陰茎及び陰
嚢に適合するのに充分大きくなければならず；開口の形状は、着用者の体に接触
する層中の切り欠き（ｃｕｔ）または切れ目（ｓｌｉｔ）として形成されるよう
に長く、そして細いことが好ましく、または分離された時に開口を形成する重複
した層の間のマッド（ｍａｄ）であることが出来；開口は使用者の生殖器が挿入
される層中の開口であることも出来る。
この発明の吸収装置は、使用の形式、例えば赤ん坊または成人用、そして要
求された容量、例えば少量の失禁から大量の失禁まで、に応じた種々の寸法であ
ることが出来る。この発明の吸収装置は、小水管理目的としてのみ機能するとと
もに使用者の前側に着用されるか、または小水及び大便の両方の管理目的として
機能するとともに使用者により従来のパッドとして着用されるように形作られ、
そして寸法付けされることが出来る。後者の場合には、装置の前パッドは、装置
の後パッドがいかなる適切な形態であることが出来る一方で、この発明の特徴を
具体化するようでなければならない。この発明の吸収装置は、装置の前部がこの
発明の特徴を具体化する限り、再締結可能なおむつ又は引上げ着用おむつのよう
な着用者の胴体下方の回りに着用される使い捨て衣類の形態であることが出来る
。
外側層はプラスチックフィルムまたは他の液体透過防止層で形成されること
が出来、そして体と接触するその層の部分は好ましくは不織布の柔らかな紙、ま
たは他の柔らかで快適な材料により覆われていて；外側層はまた水蒸気疎水性不
織の、即ち穿孔された（ｐｅｒｆｏｒａｔｅｄ）プラスチックフィルムで形成さ
れていることが出来；外側層は連続的または非連続的、即ち異なった材料の組み

吸収体（ａｂｓｏｒｂｅｎｔ ｂａｔｔ）は、不織布または薄片（ｔｉｓｓ
ｕｅ）紙である液体浸透性材料の袋またはポケット中に収納されている超吸収材
を伴うか、または伴わないセルロース毛状体（ｃｅｌｌｕｌｏｓｅ ｆｌｕｆｆ
），改質された（ｍｏｄｉｆｉｅｄ）セルロース，柔らかな紙，空気含有（ａｉ
ｒ ｌａｉｄ）セルロース、または不織布または薄片（ｔｉｓｓｕｅ）紙である
液体浸透性材料の袋またはポケット中に収納されている超吸収材のみで形成され
ることが出来；吸収体（ａｂｓｏｒｂｅｎｔ ｂａｔｔ）は、人工または天然繊
維から作成された獲得または分散層を含んでいる、種々の層を保持していること
が出来る。
添付の図面の記載
図面は全て着用者の前側に着用される小水管理形態の為のパッドである発明
の装置を示しており；そして、それは良く知られている手段により所定の場所に
保持されることが出来る。
図６ａを除く図１乃至１０の全ては、弾性が緩められた状態にある、即ち典
型的には着用状態にある間の装置を示している、この発明に従った装置を記載し
ている。図６ａは、例えばその製造中のように、装置が平坦に横たわっている、
弾性が延ばされた状態にあるこの発明に従っている装置を示している。
図１は、この発明の一実施例を示しており、ここにおいては、外側を向いて

ｓｔｒｉｐ）２を伴っている水不透過プラスチックフィルム１で作成されてい

疎水層３で作成されており、開口は開口４の両側に弾性５を有している。
図２は、図１中の開口４を横切る横断面を示しており、ここにおいて６は吸
収体（ａｂｓｏｒｂｅｎｔ ｂａｔｔ）であり、７は吸収体６の上の覆いである
。外側層１と３の２つの部分は熱溶融線９で相互に密封されており；熱溶融線８
は覆い７を層１に密封する為に使用されている。弾性体５は、例えば外側に不織
布を内側に防水層を伴っている、２つの層の積層体として示されている、層３中
におけるＵ字状に折り曲げられたフラップの間に固定されている。
図３は、この発明のもう１つの実施例を示しており、ここにおいては、体に
対面している外側層の部分が相互に重複している２つの区域１０及び１１を保持
しており、弾性体５が区域１及び１１の夫々の縁１２及び１３において所定の領
域内に置かれていて、層は開口を形成し弾性体５を保持している領域以外を線２
３及び２４に沿い相互に固定されている。
図４は、分離された時に開口を創出する重複領域１０及び１１を示している
図３中の弾性体の領域を通る横断面を示している。
図５は、この発明の好適な実施例の例示であり、ここにおいては外側層が、
開口４及び弾性体５が装備されていて連続しており、即ち吸収体（ａｂｓｏｒｂ
ｅｎｔ ｂａｔｔ）全体を取り囲んでいる１片で形成されており；着用者の体に
接触している外側層の部分が不織布１４により覆われている。
図６は、この発明の実施例の例示であり、ここにおいては着用者の体に対面
している外側層の部分が２つの分離した区域１５及び１６で形成されていて、こ
れら区域はこれらの間に開口４を創出しており、そして接合線１７により装置の
長手方向縁で吸収ユニット６に接合されているとともに、開口４の縁に沿い弾性

詳細な記載
上に記載された図はこの発明の主たる異なった設計の例を示しており、ここ
では使用者の生殖器の為の開口の異なった種類が記載されていて、開口のこれら
の種類は失禁製品の多くの異なった種類の為に良く適していて；この発明の他の
概念は以下のようにさらに詳細にされている。
この発明の外側層は、この目的の為にこの技術において良く知られている種
々の水不透過材料で形成されることが出来、そして、連続的または非連続的のい
ずれかであることが出来る。体に接触している層の部分は、ポリエチレン，ポリ
プロピレンまたはこれらの共重合体、あるいは多糖（ｐｏｌｙｓａｃｃｈａｒｉ
ｄｅｓ）を基礎とした生物学的生分解性ポリマーの夫々で形成されている、水蒸
気透過性層または非常に低い蒸気透過性層で形成されることが出来；外側層のこ
の部分は不織布またはセルロースを基礎とした他の柔らかで快適な材料で覆われ
ることが出来る。
外側層はまた、両側または一側に不織の、疎水性の、または親水性の材料ま
たはこれらの組み合わせを伴っている穿孔されている（ｐｅｒｆｏｒａｔｅｄ）
プラスチックで形成されることが出来るし、あるいは部分的に形成されることが
出来る。外側層はまた、高分子の異なった種類で形成された不織の疎水性の水弾
き材料の夫々を含むことが出来る。層の内側はまた、吸収材料の夫々、超吸収剤
を伴っている、または伴っていないセルロース毛状体（ｃｅｌｌｕｌｏｓｅ−ｆ
ｌｕｆｆ）または薄片（ｔｉｓｓｕｅ）の柔らかな紙、空気含有（ａｉｒ ｌａ
ｉｄ）セルロースで装備されていることが出来る。外側層はまた、好ましくは着
用者の体に接触する領域に不織布が積層されている微孔性フィルムを含むことが
出来る。
体と接触する外側層の部分は、図３乃至９中にある如く装置の長さ全体また
は幅全体に渡り延出している２つの区域で形成されていることが出来る。その層
はまた、図１中に示されているような切れ目（ｓｌｉｔ）または図１０に従って
いる孔を夫々が伴っている覆い収納体（ｃｏｖｅｒｓｔｏｃｋ）の単一片で形成
することが出来る。外側層は、層の一部のみ、例えば使用者の生殖器と接触する
層の上部、を水蒸気透過性材料で形成することが出来る。
開口は好ましくは長く狭い形状であり、このような開口の長さは、装置の長
手方向にそれがその延長を有している時に、１から２０ｃｍまで、好ましくは１
．５から１２ｃｍまでのいずれかにすることが出来、装置の全長さに比較すると
、開口の長さは装置の全長さの１０％から９０％までを示すべきである。このよ
うな形態において、弾性が緩和された状態にある時、開口の幅は０から１０ｃｍ
まで、好ましくは０から５ｃｍまでのいずれかにすべきであるが、開口の実際の
幅は、装置が平坦な形態に延ばされ（例えば、製造時に）、そして弾性がそれら
の引っ張り状態にある時、２ｃｍまで小さくされ、そして好ましくは０まで接近
されるべきであり、即ち、開口の両側の弾性体が相互に接触するか、または相互

弾性撚糸（ｅｌａｓｔｉｃ ｓｔｒａｎｄ）の数は開口の一側当たり１から

ある。
弾性体に負荷された引っ張りは、擦過傷を生じさせることなく使用された時
