Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the characters printed on the label of a disk surface being in rotation to be confirmed and a photograph, a picture which are drawn on the disk surface to be recognized by making characters, signs, a photograph and a picture or the like which are printed on the rotary disk media surface whose rotation is started once readable with visual observation. SOLUTION: In this illuminator, the back side of the circular part of the center of the attaching axis of the rotary disk media is painted white and a line of a black line is drawn sidelong at a portion of the circumference of a circle and the black line is made to be a rotational position detecting sensor by being combined with a reflection type photo-interrupter. Then, after output pulses of the sensor are inputted to a C-MOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) inverter and they are shaped, values of the output pulses are adjusted so as to become pulse wave continuation times optimum to rotational speeds of various kinds of rotary disk media by a differentiation circuit which is constituted of C and R and the threshold of a C-MOS inverter and the shaped output pulses are made to be inputted to the boosting type LED (light emitting diode) driving circuit of the final stage.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 shows a circuit according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 shows a variable irradiation timing type. Circuit is HE
It consists of one X, C-MOS inverter IC,
A rotation position detection sensor is obtained by combining a reflection type photo-interrupter with a black line drawn on the back side of a circular portion around the center of the rotating disk medium mounting shaft and a portion on the circumference to obtain a rotation position detection sensor. After input to the MOS inverter and shaping, the value is set so that the pulse wave duration becomes optimal for the rotation speed of various types of rotary media by the differentiating circuit composed of CR and the threshold value of the C-MOS inverter. The input was made to the step-up type LED drive circuit. The step-up type LED drive circuit is used to turn on the blue or white LED that requires 3.5 V in a small 3 V operation type rotating disk media device, and to maintain the L level between the pulse irradiation and the next pulse irradiation interval.
By turning on the ED darkly, an adverse effect on human vision due to pulse irradiation was removed. Also provided was a circuit to completely turn off the LED lighting at the same time as the rotating disk media stopped. The variable irradiation timing circuit of FIG. 2 includes a variable pulse delay input circuit with a variable resistor and a C integrating circuit between a C-MOS inverter of a first stage input from the sensor and a C-MOS inverter circuit of a second stage having a differential input circuit. By inserting a C-MOS inverter circuit as described above, the rising time of the pulse is adjusted with a delay, and the pulse is input to the LED driving circuit at the last stage that operates with the rising pulse, whereby the irradiation timing of the LED can be continuously varied. Irradiation L
The mounting position of the ED depends on the media of the turntable. For an old analog record, it is sufficient to illuminate the center of the label.
In a device using a rotating disk medium such as a CD-ROM, a CD-R, or a RW, in which a small window is provided in a safe place of a continuously variable irradiation type, a panel portion appearing in the small window is irradiated with LED light.

FIG. 1 shows a circuit of one embodiment of the function of the present invention described in the preceding section, and FIG. 2 shows a variable irradiation timing type. Circuit is H
It consists of one EX, C-MOS inverter IC, paints the back side of the circular portion at the center of the rotating disk media mounting shaft white, draws a black line on a part of the circumference, and uses a reflection type photo interrupter as a rotation position detection sensor. This sensor output pulse is input to a C-MOS inverter and shaped, and then the pulse wave duration becomes optimum with respect to the rotation speed of various types of rotating disk media by the differentiating circuit composed of CR and the threshold value of the C-MOS inverter. Thus, for a music CD, the track near the center of the beginning is about 500 rpm
m. It is designed to start with a fast rotation before and after, and to reduce the speed to less than half in the outer circumference near the end, so set the irradiation time so that the LED rotation light can read even the rotation speed of the outer circumference where the rotation speed is the slowest. It is set to about 0.5 millisecond and input to the boost LED drive circuit at the final stage.
In the case of a device that rotates media at a higher speed than that of a music CD or an old analog record that has a lower speed, the irradiation pulse time is different and the optimum irradiation time is set in advance in the design of the device to minimize the image shift during irradiation. . When a xenon tube strobe light device with high brightness is connected and used, there is almost no image shift and clear images can be confirmed even in bright places. It is suitable for applications such as re-confirmation of the rotating media disc surface for a short time by a DJ or the like. In equipment with a power supply voltage of 5 V or more, the LED drive circuit does not need to be of the boost type. Remember to connect the equipment. The mounting position of the illuminating LED differs depending on the type of the rotating disk medium. In the case of the old analog record player, a movable arm is provided so as to irradiate a label portion at the center of the turntable, and a high-brightness LED is mounted at the tip of the arm to irradiate. When illuminating the whole board with a music CD player or the like, use a plurality of high-brightness LEDs to illuminate, and provide other windows such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, CD-Rs and RWs as continuously variable illumination type with small windows. The device irradiates only the panel surface appearing in the small window with the LED light.
