Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an item packaging structure for an absorptive article, which enables an absorptive article to be hygienically dumped without inconvenience, manufacturing facilities to be simplified, and packages to be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: An absorptive article 2 is folded flat with a packaging material 3 in the longitudinal direction and both edge parts 30 of the folded and overlapped packaging material are jointed in the lateral direction. The upper end parts 31 of the overlapped packaging material 3 are folded back inside into a prescribed width. An adhesive is applied on one folded back inside face 32 and a release processing on the other inside face 33.

2. Description of the Related Art As a prior art relating to an individual packaging structure of an absorbent article, for example, a technique described in Japanese Patent Publication No. Hei 8-504638 is known. This technology folds a vertically long packaging material, seals the folded and overlapped packaging materials at both ends in the width direction to form a storage pocket, and stores the folded absorbent article in the storage pocket. The packaging material is further folded so as to cover the front end, and the leading end of the packaging material is fixed at the overlapping portion with another adhesive tape.

[0003] When using individually packaged absorbent articles,
The adhesive tape is peeled off, the packaging material is developed, and the accommodated absorbent article is taken out. Then, after the use of the absorbent article, the used absorbent article is wrapped with the developed packaging material, fixed with the adhesive tape and discarded.

In the above-mentioned prior art, it is necessary to protect the adhesive surface of the exposed adhesive tape after the adhesive tape is removed and the absorbent article is taken out, and the adhesive surface is protected by being adhered to a packaging material. In such a case, there is a problem in that the adhesive impregnates the packaging material, the packaging material is broken when the adhesive tape is peeled off again, and a problem occurs when the packaging material is disposed of together with the packaging material. In addition, since it is necessary to attach an adhesive tape, which is a separate member from the packaging material, after the storage of the absorbent article, production equipment is required and the cost must be increased accordingly.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, an absorbent article is folded flat with its packaging material in the longitudinal direction thereof, and the folded packaging materials are joined at both ends in the width direction. In the individual packaging structure, one end of the overlapped packaging material is folded inward to a predetermined width, and an adhesive is disposed on one of the folded inner surfaces and faces the one inner surface. The object has been achieved by providing an individual package structure of an absorbent article, characterized in that the other inner surface has been subjected to an easy-peeling treatment.

As described above, according to the napkin packaging structure of the present embodiment, the front end portion 31 of the packaging material 3 is folded back, the adhesive 4 is disposed on the folded inner surface 32, and the opposing inner surface 33. Since the adhesive tape is subjected to an easy-peeling treatment, a conventional adhesive tape is not required, so that there is no problem when peeling off the adhesive tape, and the adhesive tape can be discarded hygienically. Further, since the number of members required for individually mounting the napkin 2 can be reduced, the production equipment can be simplified accordingly, and production can be performed at low cost.

Further, the portion on which the adhesive 4 is disposed is the inner surface 3 of the folded front end portion 31 as in the above embodiment.
2 is preferably disposed on the inner surface 3 opposed to this.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 4 may be provided on the third side, and the inner surface 32 of the distal end portion 31 may be subjected to easy peeling treatment. Alternatively, a packaging material in which the inner surface 32 of the distal end portion 31 and the inner surface 33 facing the inner surface 32 are entirely subjected to an easy-peeling treatment may be used.
In this case, before applying the pressure-sensitive adhesive 4, the easy-peeling treatment of the applied portion on any of the inner surfaces on which the pressure-sensitive adhesive 4 is applied is broken and used.
