PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular plug which can obtain mutual conduction at a higher success rate and also is excellent in durability. SOLUTION: The modular plug 2 is equipped with a conduction blade body 9, which is conducted to a conduction fitting-piece equipped in a modular jack. A conduction spring piece part 15 having elasticity is equipped in a contacting surface side to the conduction-fitting piece of the conduction blade body 9. The conduction spring piece part 15 is supported in open side by the conduction blade body 9 at the front part side of the insertion direction P of the modular plug 2 to the modular jack of the conduction blade body 9. Further, towards backward direction of the insertion direction P, an extended first half inclination part 15a arranged by separating gradually from the contact surface, and an extended latter half inclination part 15b arranged by approaching the contact surface gradually from extension end of the extended first half inclination part 15a, are equipped with.

However, the repetition of insertion and removal between the modular jack 1 and the modular plug 2 may deteriorate the spring property of the conductive metal piece 5 on the modular jack 1 side, or may completely eliminate it. Even if the product is new and good, conduction may not be established properly due to the compatibility between the modular jack 1 and the modular plug 2 due to differences in manufacturers and lots.

At this time, in the respective guide grooves 8b, the respective conductive metal pieces 5 and the respective conductive spring pieces 15 are pressed against each other,
The conductive metal pieces 5 and the conductive spring pieces 15, that is, the conductive blades 9, are brought into a conductive state by being elastically deformed and brought into pressure contact with each other by their elastic restoring forces. Therefore, higher conduction performance can be ensured. Here, the flexibility for the difference between manufacturers and lots is also improved, and mutual continuity is obtained with a higher success rate,
The problem of compatibility between new and good products as in the past can be solved at a considerable rate.
