に対応する垂直面内で回転自由に設けると共に、モータ
装置の作動により第1ブラシ部材を所定角度範囲内で正
転又は逆転自在に設け、前記キャリッジに駆動手段によ
って前記歯口上に進退自在とされた第2ブラシ部材を設
け、前記キャリッジの往復運動による編成時に糸の切替
を行う場合において、針床の一端側外方に移動する給糸
口から繰り出された糸に対して前記モータ装置により回
転起立した第1ブラシ部材を介入させ、その第1ブラシ
部材と該給糸口との間にてほぼ緊張した糸を糸切断手段
により切断し、切断された端糸を第1ブラシ部材によっ
て把持した状態でさらに同ブラシ部材を回転させて前記
針床の隙間に臨むように反転移動し、第1ブラシ部材に
より把持された端糸を歯口上に進出した第2ブラシ部材
に受け渡して当該端糸を歯口に沿うようになしてから、
前記給糸口をその位置に残して一端側外方から他端側に
向かって移行するキャリッジのカム作用によって前記編
針をタック位置まで順次上昇移動させることにより、そ
の端糸を各々の編針の交差する部分より下方に位置させ
て上方に浮き上がらないように保持するように構成した

と該給糸口との間にてほぼ緊張した糸を糸切断手段によ
り切断し、ついで、切断された端糸を第1ブラシ部材に
よって把持した状態でさらに同ブラシ部材を回転させて
前記針床の隙間に臨むように反転移動し、第1ブラシ部
材により把持された端糸を歯口上に進出した第2ブラシ
部材に受け渡して当該端糸を歯口に沿うようになしてか
ら、前記給糸口をその位置に残して一端側外方から他端
側に向かって移行するキャリッジのカム作用によって前
記編針をタック位置まで順次上昇移動させることによ
り、その端糸を各々の編針の交差する部分より下方に位
置させて上方に浮き上がらないように保持するようにし
たことを特徴とする横編機における端糸の処理方法。
