側面部材は熱処理不要な硬度の高い金属板でも薄くする
ことができ、加工がきわめて簡単になる。又、細断に寄
与しない中間部材は、側面部材よりも厚くとも、強度あ
るいは硬度を要しないので、軽量あるいは加工し易い材
料から作ることができ、この点でも加工が簡単となる
し、回転カッタ全体としての軽量化そしてコストの低減
化が図れる。
