Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of detecting and analyzing body temperature of cattle, thereby automatically classifying items by control factors and grasping the items as proper information, thereby carrying out highly efficient control and greatly contributing to an improvement in productivity. SOLUTION: This system comprises a main receiver transmitter 1 transmitting a detection command to a detection receiver transmitter 2 at a prescribed time with a prescribed interval with a timer installed in a control barn 5, converting the returned signal into the degrees ( deg.C) of the body temperature, inputting the resultant degrees ( deg.C) to a personal computer, detecting the body temperature under a command from the main receiver transmitter 1 with the detection receiver transmitter 2 attached to a place where the body temperature fluctuation of the cattle can be measured, replying the detected body temperature to the main receiver transmitter 1, classifying the body temperature inputted from the main receiver transmitter 1 by individuals and control factors and registering the body temperature with the personal computer 3 installed in the control barn 5. The main receiver transmitter 1 and the personal computer 3 are installed in the control barn 5 to perform control operation of the system.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Dairy farming and livestock farming management has been improved to a labor-saving type by increasing the number of heads by expanding the scale, but the management technique is still the old-fashioned type based on visual inspection and labor. , Misjudgment, delay in detection, oversight of precursors, prolonged calving interval due to insufficient nighttime information management, decrease in average age (short-lived), decrease in average calving age, delay in first calving month, delay in finding a failed cow, etc. However, the fundamental factors of management have not improved, and they have been deteriorating year by year. In addition, the severity of arrested long working hours has not improved at all. In addition, in the management of large-scale public ranches, the lack of experienced management skills is a problem. The invention of the present system has been made to solve the above problems.

In FIG. 1, a main receiving transmitter (1) installed in a management building has a built-in timer.
Then, at predetermined time intervals and at a constant time, for each code No. assigned to each cow, the body temperature detection command signal of the cow is transmitted to the detection transmitter / receiver (2) attached to each cow. The detection transmitter / receiver (2) receives the body temperature detection command signal and immediately returns the measured value signal to the main receiver / transmitter (1) after measuring the body temperature for each code No. The transmitted measurement signal is converted into a temperature value (° C.) in the main transmitter / receiver (1) and input to the personal computer (3). The detection transmitter / receiver (2) is attached to a location on the cow's body surface where the body temperature fluctuation can be measured. The signal is converted to a signal and transmitted to the main receiver / transmitter (1) wirelessly. This signal includes two types: a code No. assigned and input to each cow and a detected body temperature signal. The personal computer (3) is installed in the management building and is connected to the main transmitter / receiver (1) by code or wirelessly. A reference temperature measurement value for each cow has been input in advance by the management software. It has a function to automatically input and record the measured body temperature of each cow received from the main receiving transmitter (1) and the reference body temperature graph of each cow, and the values outside the allowable body temperature range of the reference body temperature graph are input and recorded. In the case of abnormal temperature, cattle with abnormal temperature are classified by the management software into the following key management items. Heifers are the first estrus calves, and multiparous cows are cattle other than those expected to be in estrus after birth (hereinafter referred to as estrus spare cows). Register on the abnormal cattle list. Among the estrus cattle, the cattle whose body temperature drop caused by ovulation is detected are registered in the insemination cattle list. Among the estrus cattle, cattle whose body temperature fall is not detected even after the scheduled ovulation date have passed are registered in the reproductive disorders cattle list. After insemination, the cows that have passed the menstrual cycle and for which no fall in body temperature has been detected are registered in the pregnancy test cow list. The cow whose pregnancy has been confirmed by the pregnancy test is registered in the calving list. When the expected calving date of the calf arrives, the body temperature is detected at regular intervals, recorded in a standard body temperature fluctuation graph at birth, the trend is read, and the birth time is predicted and displayed. Each list outputs details as needed. The relay antenna (4) has a function of avoiding radio interference, and when the cow is grazing in the mountains or far away from the management building (5),
Alternatively, if there is a risk of radio interference during transmission and reception between the main receiver / transmitter (1) and the detection receiver / transmitter (2), install the transmitter at an appropriate position.
