However, this conventional stepladder has a problem in that it is generally weak to swing in a direction orthogonal to the facing direction of the legs, that is, in the left-right direction of the legs, and tends to fall in the same direction. Therefore, work on the top plate of the stepladder was stopped from the viewpoint of safety, and the use of a stepladder alongside the scaffolding board on those topplates was also restrained, impairing the effective use of the stepladder. .

However, in this conventional stepladder, since one leg is supported by the auxiliary leg, there is anxiety when the other leg is used, and even when the leg is used, the auxiliary leg is supported. Since the position differs from the position of the center of gravity of the stepladder, there has been a problem that a sufficient fall prevention effect cannot be obtained. Therefore,
It is conceivable that the other leg is supported by a similar auxiliary leg. However, this would increase the number of parts and increase the complexity and cost. And so on.

[0006] Conventionally, there is a ladder / ladder which can be used as a ladder by expanding a pair of legs and connecting them on the same plane, and the auxiliary leg is provided at the same position as the ladder / ladder. Is attached, and the lower leg is supported by the auxiliary leg. However, in this case, the ladder can prevent the ladder from falling in the left-right direction, but cannot prevent the leg body from bending in the opposite direction or swinging in the same direction, and thus cannot obtain stability in use. .
