Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide double-sheet printed matter capable of being inexpensively manufactured with high production efficiency by small pressure bonding force, and a method and apparatus for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The double-sheet printed matter is obtained by laminating a plurality of printed paper sheets 1 and bonding one side parts of them under heating and pressure to form a bound part T. The bound part T is constituted of a first narrow hot press bonded part T1 formed to the end edge of the printed matter and a second narrow hot press bonded part T2 formed so as to be separated from a non-hot press bonded part T'.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventional bi-leaf prints such as calendars are:
One side (especially the upper side in the calendar) was bound using metal fittings or plastic bindings. However, when disposing of a calendar or the like using such a binding device, particularly, disposal of the binding device has been an obstacle. For this reason, in recent years, a so-called heat press calender in which one side of a plurality of printed sheets S is fixed by thermocompression bonding P as shown in FIG. 6 has become mainstream.

However, the above heat press calender not only requires a large pressing force due to the large area of the portion for thermocompression bonding P, but also requires a large pressing force.
It takes a long time (for example, 6 to 7 seconds), and the production efficiency is poor. As a result, there is a problem that the cost is increased.

FIG. 2A shows an embodiment of a main part of the above-mentioned apparatus for producing a bi-leaf print, wherein 2 is a base portion, 3 is a lower heating means, 4 is an upper heating means, and 5 is a pressurizing means. Means 6 are a heat pressure member and a holding member 7. A plurality of printed paper sheets 1 are stacked on the base portion 2 and set in a state where the binding portions T are aligned. The lower heating means 3 is disposed in front of the base 2, and the upper surface thereof is
Is the same plane as the upper surface of. The lower heating means 3 and the upper heating means 4 are heated by electric heat or a suitable heat medium. The upper heating means 4 is arranged above the lower heating means 3, and is configured to be pressurized and lowered toward the lower heating means 3 by a pressing means 5 such as a hydraulic press. The heat-pressing member 6 is formed by arranging two strip-shaped plate members side by side at a predetermined interval, and is oriented so that the width direction thereof is up and down. It is in contact with the heating means 4 and is heated by the upper heating means 4. The heat and pressure member 6 may be integrally fixed to the upper heating means 4 or both may be integrally formed. Heat pressure member 6
Is protruded from the lower surface of the holding member 7 by the pressing margin S. The pressurizing means 5 may be configured to increase the pressure of the lower heating means 3 toward the upper heating means 4.

Next, a method of manufacturing a multi-leaf print using the above-described apparatus will be described. First, as shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, a printing ink for thermocompression (heat press) is applied to at least each thermocompression bonding portion T1 and T2 of the upper binding portion T of the stacked paper leaf 1. Printing is performed in advance, or an adhesive such as hot melt is applied in advance. As the printing ink for thermocompression bonding, for example, it is preferable to use a SMX thermocompression ink (manufactured by Toyo Ink Mfg. Co., Ltd.) which is as thin as possible, but is not limited to this.

Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 2A, a plurality of sheets 1 stacked on the base portion 2 and aligned with the binding portion T are moved in the direction of the arrow, and the binding portion T is moved. It is located directly below the heat pressure member 6. In this state, as shown in FIG. 2B, the pressurizing means 5 is operated to lower the hot-pressing member 6 toward the paper sheet 1 to heat-press the binding portion T. Since the heat-pressure member 6 is pre-heated by the upper heating means 4, the first thermocompression bonding portion T1 and the second thermocompression bonding portion T2 are pressurized as shown in FIGS. 2C and 1C. Then, these portions T1 and T2 are heated (for example, 120 to 13).
(0 ° C.), and are thermocompression-bonded by crimping forces P1 and P2, respectively, and bound.

[0013] The hot pressing time is 2 in the case of a normal calendar.
It takes only ~ 3 seconds, which is extremely shorter than the conventional 6-7 seconds. As soon as the hot pressing operation is completed, the hot pressing member 6 is pulled up.
At this time, the hot-pressed sheet 6 is made of a material having high releasability such as aluminum metal.
Can be prevented from rising. When the heat-pressing member 6 is pulled up, the processed multi-leaf printed matter is taken out, the next laminated paper leaf 1 is inserted, and the above operation is repeated.
