Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a drop of a cable cover into a cable duct during the opening/closing of the cable cover, enable the cable cover to be opened/closed from either of the left and right sides of a top board, and make the opening of the top board opened wide so as to facilitate wiring. SOLUTION: This cable duct cover is composed of the cable duct 2 opened in the top board 1, an engaging recess 10, which formed at the longitudinal inside edge of the opening of the cable duct 2, and the duct cover 3, which is supported pivotally so as to be made freely two-fold in a central part in a longitudinal direction and whose longitudinal edge has an engaging protrusion 9 engaged with the engaging recesses 10. The cable duct cover is characterized as follows: the front and rear engaging protrusions 9 are engaged with the front end rear engaging recesses 10 so as to block the cable duct 2 when the duct cover 3 is unfolded in a flattened manner; and either of the engaging protrusions 9 is taken as a supporting point for the purpose of opening the duct cover 3 in a longitudinal arbitrary direction during the opening of the duct cover 3.

However, in the conventional structure described above, when the duct cover is opened and wiring is performed, all the duct covers must be removed, and at that time, the duct cover is accidentally dropped into the cable duct. There is a high possibility that caution is required during handling, and there is a problem that workability is poor.

Further, since the duct cover is placed on the top plate connecting bracket at the end of the top plate, when a large amount of wiring is performed between the cable ducts, the duct cover must be passed under the top plate connecting bracket. Therefore, wiring becomes very difficult. In addition, when storing large OA peripheral devices such as outlets and hubs, it is necessary to remove the duct covers on both sides.

On the other hand, when a desktop panel or the like is arranged at the center of the top plate, this panel is located on the duct cover. Therefore, when wiring processing is required, the panel must be removed each time wiring processing is required. In addition, if the duct cover is made large in consideration of the fact that wiring processing can be performed while the panel is mounted, there is a problem that the top plate surface becomes narrow accordingly.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and does not cause the duct cover to drop into the cable duct when the duct cover is opened and closed. An object of the present invention is to provide a cable duct cover that can be opened and closed from either the left or right side of a plate and that can greatly open an opening of a cable duct.

As a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a cable duct opened on a top plate,
An engagement recess provided on the longitudinal inner edge of the opening position of the cable duct, and an engagement protrusion engaged with the engagement recess at the longitudinal end pivotally supported at the center in the longitudinal direction so as to be able to be folded in two. When the duct cover is unfolded flat, the front and rear engaging projections engage with the front and rear engaging recesses to close the cable duct and open any of the duct covers. The joint portion serves as a fulcrum and is opened in any direction in the front-rear direction.

The engaging projection is formed by bending an edge of the cable duct at a right angle, and the engaging recess is formed to have a substantially U-shaped cross section, and is formed between the top end of the upper piece and the top plate side. It is preferable that the engaging protrusions are inserted into the gaps of the first and second engaging portions so that the engaging protrusions engage with the lower surface of the upper piece and do not detach upward when the duct cover is erected. .

According to a third aspect of the present invention, if a locking portion is provided at the back of the engaging concave portion for fitting and locking the engaging projection of the open side duct cover, the duct cover can be opened. After being folded, the state can be maintained, and wiring processing can be performed more easily.
