Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer bellows for preventing fall in a car coupling part taking the connection between a support part (shaft plate) and a bellows part as a coupler type, and capable of facilitating storing and attach/detach work, and reducing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The outer bellows 9 is formed by a rubber elastic body forming bellows parts 9a, 9a', and the support part 9b supporting the bellows parts. The support part 9b has one ridge line chamfered to be like a deformed U-shaped in section and elongated, and upper and lower end core bars serving as vertical rotating shafts are secured to the upper and lower end parts of the support part. The support part is provided with a contact plate 9c, so that it can be rotated within a gap area between the coupled cars. Thus, a single plate of the rubber elastic body or a U-shaped cut end part of a double structure is engaged and inserted from the side in an opening part of the support part 9b to form the outer bellows 9 of the coupler type. The outer bellows are disposed opposite to each other through a bearing part having a fixing member 17 in the end surfaces of the front and rear cars. By inserting and removing only the fixing members 17, the outer bellows 9 are rotated to be stored or fixed in designated positions, whereby the outer bellows can be easily attached and removed to an from the cars without jumping out to the platform side.

[0004] As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the fall prevention hood has an outer hood mounting metal 2 fixed to a vehicle wedge surface 1 by welding or the like.
The bent end portion 3a of the U-shaped rubber elastic body 3 is sandwiched between the outer top metal fitting 2 and the holding plate 4, and the nut 6 is screwed to a bolt 5 fixed to the outer top metal fitting 2. The elastic body 3 is attached to the rear surface of the vehicle to form the outer top 7.
The mounting position of the outer hood 7 is often just outside the step 8 for climbing the roof.

Another example is a fall prevention outer hood of a different type from that described above, which has been put into practical use, for example, in a new type vehicle of the Toyoko Line or Keihin Kyuko Line. The hood, which is a constituent element of the fall prevention outer hood, is an improvement of the one disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 7-51965, in which an operator connects or disconnects the vehicle to connect or disconnect the vehicle. When going down to the space between them, the outer hood 7 becomes an obstacle, so that the outer hood is rotatable toward the center of the vehicle so as to be easily lifted and lowered from the platform. In this rotary fall prevention outer top, a mandrel is welded to a pipe serving as a rotating shaft, and the pipe is bonded and integrated with chloroprene rubber or EPDM serving as a top.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional example, since the pipe serving as the axis for rotation is integrated into one side of the hood, an integrated bonding structure is required. Using a simple molding die, and one point for each molding die using rubber or rubber-like material.
It must be formed in a series of processing steps of mixing, charging, heating, cooling, demolding, and finishing raw materials. Therefore, there is a problem that this processing is troublesome and production efficiency is not good, and there is a problem that the cost is increased because the mold is expensive.

Folded into a U-shape from the center as a heavy structure, and the base of the veneer or the cut end of the U-shaped folded two sides is engaged with the opening of the cross-sectionally deformed U-shaped elongated body from the side. An outer hood of a coupling type structure that is inserted and coupled using a coupling member is formed, and a bearing portion having a fixing member on the front and rear vehicle front surfaces facing the outer hood like a door in a space serving as a gap between vehicles and facing the outer hood. The outer hood is rotated only inside the center of the vehicle by the operation of inserting and removing the fixing member. Possible or fixed at a predetermined position so that the outer hood itself does not protrude to the platform side or the outside, and the outer hood has a structure that is easily detachable from the vehicle side. It should be noted that the outer hoods 9, 9 which form a pair facing each other are shown in FIG.
As shown in (b), it is arranged so as to have a spacing D,
The narrower the better, so that people do not fall off, it is better, but when the vehicle passes the curve point, the vehicle end face inside the curve approaches and the tips of the hoods 9a, 9a (9'a, 9'a) come into contact. Even if a rubber-like elastic body is used, there is a possibility that a strong force acts and damages the rubber-like elastic body if they are too close to each other. Therefore, in order to prevent such a damage accident from occurring, an interval of about 10 cm is usually appropriate.

As described above, the hood portions 9a and 9'a are usually made of a rubber-like elastic material to prevent damage. However, in this case, the hardness which affects the elasticity is easily set, and the molding cost is reduced. Although an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer which is advantageous in the above was selected and used, the present invention is not limited to this.

There is a correlation between the thickness T of the tops 9a and 9'a shown in FIG. 2 and the hardness of the material, and when the hardness of the material is small considering the rigidity of the tops 9a and 9'a. Must have a large thickness T. If the hardness is high, the thickness T can be reduced. However, considering the material cost, the thickness T
The thinner is advantageous.

Here, the hoods 9a, 9 'shown in FIG.
The experiment was repeated by setting the proof stress for preventing a person from falling off from the interval D in the front-rear direction of a at about 30 kg. In the present embodiment, molding was performed using an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer having a JIS hardness of 85 to 90 (eg, trade name Miraplane 1624 manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical MKV Co., Ltd.). When an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer having a JIS hardness of 60 to 85 and a relatively small hardness is used, it can be demonstrated that the material can be produced without problems by increasing the thickness t (not shown) of the material of the hood portions 9a and 9'a. First, as a mounting method, the lower end of the swing type cylindrical member 12 serving as the upper end bearing portion is pulled toward the front of the vehicle in the front-rear direction to swing (angle θ) (see arrows in FIGS. 3C-C), and the upper end mandrel is used. 11a is the swing type cylindrical member 1
2 and then, while returning the outer top 9 in the vertical direction, lift up until the lower end of the lower end mandrel 11b fends off the upper end of the fixed cylindrical member 13 serving as the lower end bearing portion,
The lower mandrel 11b and the fixed cylindrical member 13 are kept in that state.
After lowering the outer hood 9, the lower mandrel 1
1b is inserted into the fixed cylindrical member 13 and attached. In this state, the outer hood 9 rotates inward toward the center of the vehicle and becomes unstable, so that the lower end mandrel 11b and the hole 11d having a diameter of about 6 mm formed in the fixed cylindrical member 13 are provided. FIG. 5 (a) with the center of 13a matched.
As shown in (b), the fixing pin 17 is inserted, and the state that the outer hood 9 is fixed to the vehicle wife surface 1 is maintained, so that the outer hood 9 can function as a fall preventing outer hood.

According to the present invention, (1) the outer hood can be easily rotated and stored by simply inserting and removing one fixing pin, and (2) the upper end bearing is of a swing type. As a result, the rotation of the outer hood becomes smooth, and the attaching / detaching operation becomes easy. (3) By using a rubber-like elastic material for the material of the hood, it is easy to set the hardness which affects the elasticity. In addition, since the support part (shaft plate) and the hood part are combined, a mold and the like at the time of manufacturing the hood part become unnecessary, and continuous extrusion and continuous vulcanization operations become possible. (4) The olefin thermoplastic elastomer, natural rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, EPDM, urethane rubber, and nitrile butadiene rubber selected as the material for the hood are recycled (reused,
(Recycling of resources) is possible, so that it is environmentally friendly and economical.
