Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic hood which can hold an appropriate distance swiftly without excessively shortening a distance between a diseased part and the object lens of the endoscope, and can keep the distance during observation, to facilitate the appropriate observation of the diseased part with the endoscope. SOLUTION: The hood 1 forms an access prevention section 2 and a fitting section 3 detachably attached to the endoscope in one piece or in different pieces. The access prevention section 2 is formed into a cylindrical or speaker- like shape, and is bored off a notch portion 2a or the like. And, the access prevention section 2 is given a length which can get a viewing field of the objective lens 5 appropriately according to performance of the object lens 5 of the endoscope 4.

2. Description of the Related Art The performance of an endoscope has been improved by successive improvements, but the problem is that an appropriate visual field can be obtained by properly maintaining the distance between the endoscope tip and a lesion site during observation. Is not always easy to obtain. That is, in order to continue the observation while appropriately maintaining the distance between the objective lens of the endoscope and the observation target site, the operator needs considerable skill in the procedure. The insertion portion of the endoscope in the body has a considerable length, and therefore, it is necessary for the surgeon to operate the endoscope at hand by experience. Therefore, when the objective lens of the endoscope is brought close to the lesion to be observed, if the operation at hand is not sufficient, the endoscope is too close to the lesion, and a visual field required for observation cannot be obtained. Of course, if there is too much distance, observation becomes impossible. Thus, the operation must be continued to maintain the proper spacing, which will take a while to adjust. In addition, the longer the adjustment, the greater the burden on the patient. However, no proposal for solving this problem has been made.

[Technical Means for Solving the Problems] As a result of intensive research and repeated studies for solving the above problems, the present invention was able to be solved. That is, the base end is a cylindrical body fitted to the distal end of the insertion section of the endoscope, and the distal end is formed in a cylindrical or trumpet shape, and uses a hood that opens in a circle or an ellipse. That is, if the hood is fitted to the endoscope insertion portion, the objective lens of the endoscope is regulated by the front edge of the hood, and cannot excessively approach the lesion site. Therefore, when the operator inserts the endoscope into the human body, there is a fear that the objective lens may approach the lesion part excessively, and it is not necessary to perform the insertion operation based on the intuition of the operator's experience. Insertion can be performed. In this case, the problem is that when the objective lens is contaminated with a medicine or a body fluid, the objective lens is removed by air supply from a forceps port or a nozzle provided at the end of the endoscope or is washed by ejecting a liquid from the nozzle. In this case, discharge of a fluid or the like is obstructed by the hood. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, one or more cutouts are provided at the tip of the hood or side holes are formed to form the discharge path for the fluid or the like.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1, 2 and 3 are side explanatory views showing an outline of the embodiment, and FIG. 4 is a front explanatory view showing a state where the embodiment is fitted to an endoscope. In the hood (1), an access preventing portion (2) and a fitting portion (3) detachable from an endoscope are formed integrally or separately, and the access preventing portion (2) is formed in a cylindrical or trumpet shape. In addition, a notch (2a) or a side hole (2b) is formed. The approach preventing section (2) has a length that can appropriately obtain the field of view of the objective lens (5) of the endoscope (4) according to the performance of the objective lens (5) of the endoscope (4). The cutout (2a) or the side hole (2b) may be provided singly or plurally. As described above, the fluid by the air supply or the liquid ejection from the forceps port (7) and the nozzle (8) of the endoscope (4) is provided. Since it is provided as an equal discharge path, when a single or a small number is provided, it is desirable to provide the endoscope (4) on the objective lens (5) side of the endoscope (4) in order to increase the effectiveness of discharge (in FIG. The endoscope is an example, and (7) in the figure is a light guide.)

According to the endoscope hood for exclusive use for observation of the present invention, the objective lens (5) of the endoscope (4) does not excessively approach the lesion to be observed due to the approach preventing portion (2). Therefore, an appropriate visual field can be easily obtained, and since the fluid and the like are not stored in the hood (1) by the discharge path, the objective lens (5) can be kept clear. Therefore, the operator can accurately observe the lesion site to be observed while minimizing the burden on the patient, and can sufficiently enhance the effect of the treatment.
