Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus by which the existence of a water leakage in a water pipe newly installed at a house or the like is inspected before the water pipe is connected to a public main water pipe, which eliminates a waste that a T-shaped pipe is interposed in, and inserted into, the newly installed water pipe in advance so as to be buried wastefully in conventional cases and by which the water leakage can be inspected at low costs and easily. SOLUTION: A straight pipe 2 is installed at the central connection port of the T-shaped pipe 1. A water pressure gage 4 is installed at the tip of the straight pipe. The straight pipe is connected to a pressure pump 8 via an on-off valve 6. The T-shaped pipe is interposed in the interval L between a water- source-side pipe 13 which is installed so as to attach a water meter 19 and a demand-side pipe 14. Connection ports at both ends of the T-shaped pipe are connected respectively to the water-source-side pipe and the demand-side pipe via diameter adaptors 10, 10. The on-off valve is opened, the pressure pump is operated, test water is pressure-fed into the demand-side pipe, the on-off valve is closed, and a change in the water pressure gage is monitored.

に設けられた水源側配管と需要側配管との間隔に前記T
字管を介在させ、該T字管の両端接続口を径アダプタを
介して夫々水源側配管と需要側配管に連結し、前記開閉
弁を開いて加圧ポンプを作動させることで需要側配管中
にテスト水を圧送した後、該開閉弁を閉じて水圧計の変
動を監視するようにしたことを特徴とする。また本発明
は上記水漏れ検査装置において、直管に空気抜栓を付設
したことを特徴とする。

プ8中に水を入れ、該加圧ポンプ8のハンドルを操作す
ることによりホース7を介して直管2中にテスト水を圧
送し、需要側配管14に繋がる住宅内等の水道配管内を
そのテスト水で充満させ、必要に応じて空気抜栓9を開
けて配管内の空気を抜き、配管内の水圧を上昇させ水圧
計4の指針が17.5気圧程度を指したところで開閉弁
