等の翼形状にしたものである。これにより、インペラ1
2の回転時に起こるキャビテーションの騒音が減少し
た。又風呂水初期吸上時間が10〜30%短縮した。吐
水量は7〜25%増加した。(前記データは、ばらつい
ているのではなく、揚程及びインペラの回転数等の試験
条件の相違による試験結果によるものである。) 又、電動機側シュラウド25の存在による負圧発生(大
気吸気)が少なくなったので、オイルシール内環型の水
密性が低下しにくくなり、風呂水初期吸上時間が延び
る、吐水量が減少するということが改善された。
