2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, zinc-plated metal sheets have been widely used for automobiles, household electric appliances, building materials and the like. Since these zinc-based plated metal plates have insufficient corrosion resistance and adhesion to paint as they are, chemical conversion treatments such as chromate treatment and phosphate treatment are performed on the plating layer,
When a higher level of corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, design, etc. is required, a coating is often provided on these chemical conversion treatment layers. In particular, in the case of a metal plate used for an application in which design is important in terms of beauty of appearance and perfection of color tone, a film corresponding to the outermost coating film must be colored in a color tone required by a user.

In recent years, with the diversification of uses of colored metal plates,
There has been an increasing demand for an appearance that does not completely conceal the color tone of the substrate and utilizes the metallic luster of the substrate. For example, the bottom plate and back plate of refrigerators and washing machines, FDD parts, cassette chassis, and other parts that are difficult to see on the product appearance are inferior in design if the appearance of the base metal plate is inferior. In addition to the parts to be colored, there is a demand for a beautifully colored metal plate while maintaining metallic luster.

First, the film thickness T of the film, which is the most important point of the present invention, will be described. As described above, the colored film-coated metal plate having a marked uneven pattern according to the present invention is a colored film-coated metal plate in which a film containing a color pigment is coated on a metal plate, and the film of the film is coated. The thickness T is characterized by satisfying the above equation (1), preferably the above equation (2). In other words, in order to obtain a desired appearance, the film thickness T of the film is well controlled by the relationship between the height, depth, and width of the convex portions (peaks) and concave portions (valleys) in the cross-sectional curve of the metal plate. Thus, the most important point of the present invention exists. In the present invention, a coating containing a coloring pigment is coated to a predetermined thickness in order to make the uneven pattern of the base metal plate stand out.
According to the study results of the present inventors, it has been clarified that, when the film thickness T exceeds the above equation (1), the appearance intended by the present invention cannot be obtained (see Examples described later).

Among them, a peak having a maximum height and a valley having a maximum depth are selected, and the maximum height and the maximum depth are defined as L1 ′ and L2 ′, respectively. At another arbitrary measurement distance (25 mm), the maximum height and the maximum depth of the peaks and valleys having a width of 0.5 mm or more were measured in the same manner, and the average values of n = 5 were determined as L1 and L2. .

The film thickness T of the above-mentioned film is determined by the basis weight (g / m
2 ) / Specific gravity (g / cm 3 ). In the present invention, since a metal plate having a concavo-convex pattern (that is, having a concavo-convex cross-sectional shape) is used as the base metal plate, the film thickness of the film coated on the metal plate is uniquely determined. It is difficult to determine. Therefore, in the present invention, as described above, the film thickness T of the film is represented by the ratio of the basis weight to the specific gravity.

As described above, in the present invention, the most important point exists where the upper limit of the film thickness T of the film is properly controlled in relation to the cross-sectional shape of the metal plate and a desired appearance is given. The lower limit of the film thickness T of the film is determined not from obtaining a desired design property but from the viewpoint of obtaining a coloring effect by adding a coloring pigment. In order to obtain such a coloring effect, it is preferable that the film thickness T of the film is 0.1 μm or more. It is preferably at least 0.2 μm, more preferably 0.1 μm.

Incidentally, an embodiment in which an organic pigment and an inorganic pigment are used in combination is also included in the scope of the present invention, but in such a case, it is preferable that these pigments satisfy the above range in total. However, since the inorganic pigment has a higher hiding power than the organic pigment, it is recommended to appropriately control the mixing ratio of the two and increase the content ratio of the organic pigment as compared with the inorganic pigment. In detail, it is recommended to adopt a suitable mixing ratio depending on the type of the pigment used, but generally, the organic pigment and the inorganic pigment are controlled in a weight ratio of 10: 0 to 7: 3. The average particle size of the color pigment is 0.0
It is preferably from 5 to 1.0 μm. When the thickness is less than 0.05 μm, the coloring effect of the film is small and the design may be lacking. Conversely, if it is larger than 1.0 μm, the proportion of the large-diameter pigment exposed on the coating film surface increases with an increase in the pigment concentration, so that the pigment falls off during sliding of the obtained colored coated metal plate. The color tone may change. In addition, if the particle size of the pigment is large, the dispersibility in the paint is poor, so that it is difficult to obtain a uniformly colored coating film. A more preferable range of the particle size of the pigment is 0.1 to 0.7 μm.

Next, the color film is not particularly limited.
Inorganic / organic coatings alone or in combination can be applied. As the organic coating, specifically, resins such as polyethylene, polyurethane, polyester, epoxy, and acrylic resins can be used, and resins obtained by mixing and modifying these resins may be used. For example, it is also preferable to introduce a functional group into the base resin to improve the adhesion with the color pigment. In addition, since the organic solvent-based paint deteriorates the working environment and requires equipment for collecting volatile solvents, in the present invention, it is recommended to use a water-dispersed paint or a water-soluble resin liquid containing a color pigment. .

Next, a method for producing the metal sheet coated with a colored film of the present invention will be described. The colored film-coated metal sheet of the present invention can be produced by applying a paint containing the above-mentioned resin component to the surface of an original sheet by a known coating method, followed by drying. The coating method is not particularly limited. For example, a roll coater method, a spray method, A method in which a paint is applied using a curtain flow coater method or the like, and then dried by passing through a hot-air drying oven, or the like. The roll coater method is practically preferable in consideration of the uniformity of the film thickness, the processing cost, the coating efficiency, and the like.

The metal plate to be coated with a resin may be subjected to a phosphate treatment or a chromate treatment as a pretreatment for the purpose of improving the adhesion to the film or the corrosion resistance.
However, as for the chromate-treated material, from the viewpoint of chromium elution during use of the resin-coated metal plate, C
It is preferable to suppress the amount of r adhesion to 35 mg / m 2 or less. Within this range, the colored film-coated metal sheet of the present invention can suppress elution of chromium from the base chromate-treated layer. In addition, the conventional chromate-treated material has a tendency that the water-resistant adhesiveness of a top coat provided as required decreases in a humid environment with the elution of hexavalent chromium. In this case, the elution is suppressed, so that the water-resistant adhesion of the overcoat film does not deteriorate.

First, Nos. 29 to 39 are 55% Al-Z
Using an n-plated steel plate as a base plate, and forming a film thickness T of 6 μm
And the film thickness T satisfies the range of the above equation (2). Of these, No. 35 did not satisfy the requirements of the present invention because the addition amount of the coloring pigment was 0, and a desired colored appearance was not obtained. In No. 36, since the amount of the color pigment added exceeded the preferable requirement of the present invention, the spangle pattern of the original plate was concealed, and a desired design property was not obtained. No. 38 is an example in which a valve shell of an organic pigment is used in combination with PY-120 of an organic pigment and an inorganic pigment, and the ratio of the organic pigment is larger than that of the inorganic pigment. No. 37 using only PY-120 of an organic pigment and a valve shell of an inorganic pigment and having a high mixing ratio of the valve shell
Compared to o.38, the design is extremely excellent, and the degree is as described in No. 30 to 33 using only organic pigments.
