PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a fan shroud having such advantages that its manufacturing cost is low and its product efficiency is high and realize a method for manufacturing the fan shroud, as regards the fan shroud and the manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: A die head 10 connected to a resin extrusion machine and a pair of the split halves 13 and 14 of a blow mold of the same shape having cavities 15 of the same shape as the outer shape of the fan shroud 17 are used. Then a parison 11 is extruded in the form of a cylinder, from the die head 10 and the cylindrical parison 11 is nipped by the paired split halves 13 and 14 of the blow mold. Further, air is blown into the parison 11 from an air blow opening 16 formed in the die head 10 and thus the parison 11 is tightly pressed against the cavities 15 of the split halves 13 and 14.
